2025 Tight End Grant Smith Grant Smith 6'5" | 210 lbs | TE Maroaforsyth | 2025 State IL is an offensive weapon who caught the eye of quite a few FCS programs this offseason. At 6’5″, he has a big catch radius, but what makes him a true issue for opposing defenses is his speed and ability to stretch the field from his TE position. His athleticism allows him to be moved around formationally to utilize his skill set. He accounted for 8 touchdowns last year, and I don’t see him slowing down this year as he enters his senior season

You can line the massive target up inline or out in the slot. From either position he shows the speed to stretch the seam, soft hands, and good body positioning to box out DBs. Grant is also a punishing runner after the catch. We consistently see him run through 2-3 tackles before he is finally brought down throughout his highlights. We see that sam bully mentality in the run game where he looks to punish opponents. Check him out.
