Kratochvil is a game wrecker on the DL. Measuring in at 6'3 230 pounds, he accounted for 42 total tackles (29 solo, 13 assisted), 4 TFL, and 5.5 sacks. Kratochvil has good athletic ability due to good acceleration, speed, and solid change of direction. His strength is evident when you throw on the film. He's throwing around offensive linemen with ease and plugging the holes so running backs can't go further. He has a good quickness out of his stance then goes into a low pad level. He has good hand strength/placement and uses that to move offensive linemen out of the way. Kratochvil will also swat their arms away. He switches between a very good spin move, and a powerful bull rush to attack the QB. He eats up double blocks, and still creates pressure. Good competitive toughness. Kratochvil will run down the ballcarrier out into open space to ensure the tackle. I'm looking forward on how Kratochvil continues to develop his technique.

Fresh off a championship win, Monroe is looking to continue where he left off. The defensive end measures in at 6'3 215 pounds. Throughout the season, he accounted for 27 total tackles (22 solo, 5 assisted) and 3 sacks. Monroe has very good athletic ability due to very good acceleration, speed, and good change of direction. Monroe bounces between the inside and the outside, excelling at both. He has very good strength. For example, he started to get pulled down by the OL, then immediately pulls the OL down while staying up. He will also make a TFL while getting held by the OL. Monroe has a good low pad level to get underneath the defender. He uses his good hand placement to control and steer the OL away. Using his good bull rush, he'll knock the offensive lineman off of their anchor. Monroe has a fire that isn't looking to be extinguished this upcoming season.

Derickson is a bruising hog molly who eats up the run game. Measuring in at 6'5 245 pounds, he's got good size for a defensive lineman. Derickson has good athletic ability due to very good acceleration, good speed, and solid change of direction. I'm impressed with Derickson's initial quickness out of his stance. He engages the OL first, and ends up victorious. Uses a low pad level and good hand placement to control the OL. Derickson also relies on his body to overpower the OL and get behind them. Justus has very good strength, and eats up double blocks for breakfast. He has a head full of steam, and will keep rushing the QB until the ball is thrown. Derickson also uses his lengthy arms to create pass deflections. He's a formidable defensive lineman who looks to continue dominating offensive lines.

Adams is an athletic defensive lineman coming out of Cherokee Trail. Measuring in at 6'3 230 pounds, he's got good size for a defensive lineman. He played on the inside during his junior year at CT, however due to his athletic ability, I believe he can switch to the edge with no problem. Adams has very good athletic ability due to very good acceleration, speed, and good change of direction. His very good strength is evident as well. He will push the OL around with his good hand placement to steer them out of the way. Adams also uses his hands to swat the OL's arms away. Adams has a powerful bull rush to knock the OL down. He also has a nasty spin move in his back pocket. One thing that stood out to me was his competitive toughness. Either playing through the whistle, or chasing the ball carrier into the open field; Adams was consistently making plays for his defense.
