These 3A wide receivers are bund for GIANT seasons this fall...

Rich Vanzant - Sandy Creek

A versatile, playmaking pass-catcher who brings good size at 5-foot-11 175-pounds, this Tyrone, Georgia native can line up at multiple different receiver spots and does a great job of finding space down the seam. He's a sure-handed receiver on the rise who is coming off a strong junior season in 2023 where he hauled in 25 passes for 328 yards and multiple touchdowns. He's a vertical weapon who should see more targets come his way as a senior this fall. The Patriots should have plenty of success on the ground, but if they want to air it out some, Vanzant would be a reliable option in the passing game.

Bentavious Reviere - Upson-Lee

An outstanding two-way athlete who can also make plays on special teams, Reviere is a speedy, electric wideout who is coming off a promising junior season where he caught 18 passes in seven games for 186 yards and three touchdowns. A multi-sport standout who also shines on the track, Reviere's natural speed and big-play ability allow him to make plays on the gridiron. He also shows strong ball-skills and the ability to play all over the field as a senior this upcoming season. He's a fast, underrated athlete bound for a giant 2024 season.

Jaden Hurd - Liberty County

A small-town receiver from Liberty County, Hurd is a sure-handed wideout who had a strong junior season last fall, catching 27 passes for 419 receiving yards and four touchdowns. He brings a solid frame at 6-foot-1 185-pounds and has the ability to continue adding more muscle. He's a promising route-runner who can get open and make a strong catch on the boundary. He runs hard and can pick up yards after the catch. He can sneak past defenders down the field and is bound for a giant senior season for the Panthers this fall as a senior. Liberty County had two senior receivers graduate, so look for Hurd to see a good amount of passes come his way this year.

Quantavious Boykin - Douglass

One of the top sleeper wide receivers not only in 3A, but across Atlanta, Boykin is a down-field threat with good speed and the ability to come down with a big catch. He plays hard, competes, and brings above-average hands to the table. Boykin is coming off a strong junior season where he caught 34 passes for 422 yards and three touchdowns. He's shifty, can change directions, and gets up the field quickly after the catch. The 5-foot-8 170-pounder was a reliable weapon last year and should see even more targets and opportunities to make plays come his way during his senior season this fall.

[player_tooltip player_id='1092208' first='McCord' last='Purdy'] – Pickens

A North Georgia sophomore bound for a possible "breakout" junior season this fall, Purdy is a sure-handed wideout with good size at 6-foot-2 175-pounds. The Jasper, Georgia native has caught 51 passes this year for 649 yards and 12 touchdowns. A big-play machine who can stretch the field vertically and make a tough catch over a defender, Purdy's ball skills and dependable hands were on full display last year. He was tough to cover all season long as a sophomore and should have an even bigger junior season in 2024. The Dragos have several weapons on offense, and Purdy is one who could see his recruitment pick up with a big year. He has the talent and potential to make it happen.

Talan Childress - Jefferson

A big-play machine who may not have caught a ton of passes last year, Childress is an athletic wideout with the ability to sneak past defensive backs down the field. He can stretch the field vertically with enough awareness to find the ball and secure the catch down the field. This promising senior caught only 10 passes last year, but he took them for 259 yards and five touchdowns. He brings good size at 6-foot-1 185-yards and should see plenty of passes come his way this fall. The Dragons will need more receivers to step up, and Childress has enough speed and talent to be a very dependable option this fall.
