2027 Rankings Update 2.0: Quarterbacks

With that in mind, we are currently in another round of rankings updates for the state of Kentucky. After already updating the classes of 2025 and 2026, the class of 2027 rankings update has now been officially published. Queen has very impressive accuracy, showing the ability to fit passes into tight windows and place the ball where only his intended receiver has a chance to catch it. I also really like his ability to make throws on the run, showing the ability to keep his eyes down the field while escaping the pocket to find the open receiver. He led Trinity to a 6A State Championship last season, completing 173/296 passes for 2,289 yards, 30 touchdowns, and eight interceptions in 15 games. Johnson has a very strong arm which he uses to stretch the field in the deep passing game. He also has impressive accuracy, showing the ability to hit receivers out of their breaks so that they can make catches in stride. Mack has impressive ball placement, showing the ability to put the ball where his intended receiver can run under it and make the catch in stride. He also has the arm strength to stretch the field in the deep passing game. Kaden also has very explosive speed which he is able to use to pose as a threat as a ball carrier. He is transferring to Middlesboro after a strong freshman year at Pineville in which he completed 83/169 passes for 1,449 yards, 14 touchdowns, and nine interceptions in eight games. Partin has a cannon for an arm which he uses to lead his receivers down the field in the deep passing game. He is also very impressive when escaping the pocket, showing the ability to keep his eyes down the field to make tough throws on the run. Korbyn had a solid freshman year, completing 112/205 passes for 1,658 yards, 18 touchdowns, and nine interceptions in 11 games. Edwards throws an impressive deep ball, showing the arm strength to lead his receivers down the field and fit them in stride. He also has impressive accuracy, showing the ability to fit passes into tight windows where only his intended receiver can catch it. Edwards also finished last season with 90 carries for 443 yards and five touchdowns.
