Unranked 2027s You’ll See In Future Ranking Updates

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>We recently published our Virginia class of <a href="https://prepredzone.com/virginia/rankings/2027-rankings/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">2027 player rankings</a> and you will notice there are not as many players ranked as you saw in our class of <a href="https://prepredzone.com/virginia/rankings/2025-rankings/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">2025</a> and <a href="https://prepredzone.com/virginia/rankings/2026-rankings/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">2026</a> rankings. For some players, it was too early to have a conviction on where to rank them, some haven't had much film available yet, and others have not played on varsity. He has the tools available to him to be a dominant force on the interior for Albemarle, plus he has great size. He is quick off the ball, knows how to use his hands, and will be one of the strongest on the field. He likely is taking over the Quarterback position for the state champion Radford Bobcats this fall, and our expectation is that Radford will be contenders again led by Luke's play. He is a good athlete with speed, quickness, and moves with fluidity. He can get skinny and burst through the hole with quickness and balance as a running back and shows he is one of the fastest on the field once he hits the second and third level. Shows ability to force incompletions in pass coverage with his ball skills to swat the ball out of receivers' hands. He displays good balance to keep his feet and vision to find the hole and burst through it. Also shows the ability to create yards when blocking breaks down and defenders are in the backfield to not lose yards on a play. He is going to be one of the best athletes on the field each week and has the speed to out run anyone. He displays good route running, good hands, and the ability to adjust to throws to ensure the catch is made. After the catch, he is elusive using his very good short area quickness and change of direction. There are no <em>Hudl </em>highlights available from his freshman season, but looking at his older highlights and the clips he has posted on his X account from camps this summer shows his playmaking potential. He has good foot speed and can accelerate quickly, outrunning most he will face. The tools are there for his success as he displays good hands, ball skills, and processing of the game.
