Twitter Film Study #5

I will provide a detailed breakdown of the same footage so you can follow along. This is an excellent opportunity for any athlete in Oregon to get recognized, as I am willing to write about anyone who reaches out. What stood out to me was his athleticism and tackling. Ty can lay some big hits because of the momentum he gains with his above average speed for a linebacker. He can do it all, from taking it to the house on a long run, picking up a first down through the air, or even throwing for it himself if needed. He still has some bulking up to do, but the skill set is there. I was most impressed with his shiftiness, especially in his route running. He also great hands, reeling in some impressive passes last year. I watch the film and I am impressed by the frame and the technique. Tenam has a great backpedal, solid break, and fantastic hips. I was able to see him in person in May when he took home Defensive Back Co-MVP at our Oregon Showcase, and I can say it looks like he has improved from his impressive junior season. He had some great coverage skills on the film, showing the IQ and ability of an upperclassmen on the field. He is still young so obviously his game needs a bit of polishing, but I believe he has the potential to be a great player. Lukas has made the transfer to Churchill where he will look to make an immediate impact for the Lancers.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
