The Watch List: Standout 2025 Prospects Set for Huge Seasons!

We are checking out some more 2025s across the state that have caught our eye recently. Be sure to be on the lookout, these players are set for some big seasons!    [player_tooltip player_id='1347176' first='Alexander' last='Mullings'] is a dominant defensive line prospect out of Demopolis that has been extremely reliable for them in the trenches over the past few years. Mullings is a versatile defender who can play up and down the entire defensive line, but where he really shines is at defensive tackle. At DT, Mullings is a monster on the interior and doesn't allow for anything to be run his way. Mullings is a destructive run defender who uses his size, power, and pursuit to consistently track and take down the ball carrier at and behind the line of scrimmage. It's really impressive seeing how well Mullings maneuvers around the field at his size, he can make plays far from where he initially lines up pre-snap and has a super reliable motor that allows him to consistently have an impact time he's on the field. With how well he's played, Mullings has picked up a fair share of offers over the last year but decided to commit to Georgia State earlier this summer. Watch out for Mullings this fall, he could easily be one of the top defensive linemen in the state's 2025 class with how much talent he has.     [player_tooltip player_id='1347177' first='Reggis' last='Shamberger'] is a talented defensive lineman out of Excel that has put together a couple of great seasons for their defense over the past few years. It's really impressive watching Shamberger play against the run- he does a terrific job utilizing his size to eat up space, has some great pursuit, and frequently can beat offensive linemen at the line of scrimmage to make tackles for loss. When he's rushing the passer, Shamberger does a great job generating pressure and placing hits on the quarterback. He has a wide variety of pass-rush moves and some serious athleticism he uses to his advantage to consistently beat offensive linemen. Last fall, Shamberger had a terrific season on Excel's defensive front- it didn't matter who they played against, his play shined on tape. Shamberger has picked up a good bit of collegiate attention due to his play, and recently committed to Troy- giving them a great defensive addition to their 2025 class. Keep an eye on Shamberger this fall and at the next level, he's a heck of a prospect with loads of potential.     [player_tooltip player_id='1347179' first='Peyton' last='Plott'] is a do-it-all ATH prospect out of Auburn that has been able to do everything his coaches have asked of him over the last few years. Plott has made impacts on both sides of the ball and all over the field when he's lined up as a wide receiver, running back, and KR/PR. It's a blast watching a prospect like Plott's tape, everything he does with the ball is explosive and seemingly effortless. Plott has some electric speed and acceleration that allow for him to consistently make huge plays downfield and in the endzone. It's so easy for Plott to separate from defenders, he has top-line speed and can easily make them miss tackles with how elusive he is. It doesn't matter if he's running routes, carrying the ball, or returning punts/kicks, he consistently finds ways to make the most out of every opportunity he gets. Last fall was a huge season for Plott as he recorded 55 receptions for 1,044 yards and 14 touchdowns, 71 carries for 607 yards and 6 touchdowns, and two touchdowns returned off punts/kicks. Keep an eye out for Plott this fall, he just recently committed to Georgia Southern and is set up for a massive season in Auburn's offense!     [player_tooltip player_id='1347187' first='Miquane' last='Williams'] is a super reliable offensive line prospect out of Dothan that has made his offense's lives much easier over the last few seasons. Williams is a dominant tackle that has become an anchor of Dothan's offensive line where he's consistently been a impactful blocker in the run game and in pass protection. When running the ball, Williams opens up tons of wide-open lanes at the line of scrimmage and has the agility and athleticism to make key blocks at other levels of the field as well. He frequently pancakes defenders into the dirt and allows the ball carrier tons of room to work with. When protecting the quarterback, Williams is super reliable and keeps a consistent clean pocket. It's rare to see his QB come under any pressure as Williams does a great job anticipating what sorts of moves defensive linemen will try to beat him with. Last fall Williams had one of his best seasons yet and has seen a lot of offers head his way because of it. Recently, he committed to Southern Mississippi, giving them a terrific OL addition to their 2025 class. Keep an eye on Williams and the Dothan offense this fall, they have the potential to make a lot of plays!
