BROOKING, SD-- We move into the second session from SDSU, and take a look at our standouts for the offensive and defensive line in Brookings with this Part I list. This includes: our DL Camp MVP, 2025s that are still way under the radar, and much more as there were prospects across the Midwest in attendance that certainly put a good show for the college coaches in attenndance.

Connor is certainly a West River offensive linemen that I am surprised he is still as under the radar as he is to this point as 6'3 260 pounder had a solid showing at the SDSU prospect camp. The length that Connor stretched out to at SDSU was nearly 6'7 so that alone should appease to more programs in the NSIC and the RMAC. He was one of my first prospects in my notebook that flashed via the eye-test and showed off developing change of direction with his pro agility since my last live live-eval. Certainly since the 2023 season, Connor shows to be more instinctive with his footwork and shows off quickly seen leverage at the point of attack. He would certainly be on my offer list if I was recruiting the West River as a offensive linemen that also brings great character to his football resume.

[player_tooltip player_id='1280523' first='Jack' last='Krull'], DL, Central Lyon-George Little Rock, IA 2025 Twitter

A first-team defensive end in 2023, [player_tooltip player_id='1280523' first='Jack' last='Krull'] was a DL prospect that caught my eyes in Brookings. He flashed with his athletic flexibility from the early going of camp and was the 2A sack leader with 11 sacks too this fall. Jack certainly pops out with his pro agility best of 4.47 at South Dakota State and is a DL prospect you have excess room to grow out his frame at the next-level. The tape shows off a great shedding ability with his hands and his football IQ shows off some instinctive athletic movement he has as a workhorse getting to the ball carrier. With how much range Jack carries, I could also see position flexibility to linebacker at the next-level. One NAIA offer thus far, but I expect that to grow in the coming months.

Kesston Dickson, OL, Bruning-Davenport, NE 2025 Hudl

Talk about a prospect that caught my eye-test team in Brookings very quickly, that was nearly 6'5 270 pounder Kesston Dickson out of Nebraska. Kesston has excellent length he showed off at SDSU, stretching to a whopping 6'9 on the wingspan chart. His tape shows off so much upside to come at the next-level as Kesston shows off great pad-level as an OL prospect that needs to develop more as a finisher with all the size he offers and continuing to improve his footwork. My gut tells me that Kesston is another small town Nebraska sleeper that hasn't gotten on many radars as of yet as I couldn't even find him on Twitter yet.

[player_tooltip player_id='1236463' first='Blake' last='Kannegieter'], DL, Brookings, SD 2026 Twitter

Blake was one of the most undersized defensive line prospects I caught wind of at SDSU, but one that I thought with growing out his frame in the weight room, could certainly become a possible next-level prospect in the future. Blake caught my eyes with his agility, as he showed great twitch with his change of direction recoding a 4.60 in his pro agility and put up solid numbers with his L-Drill as well. The track background Blake shows certainly was an eye-catch in Brookings as well as there are not too many defensive linemen out there that are distant runners in the 4x400. Blake from my eyes shows off more depth with his game speed compared to his testing numbers, showing that this young man has a wired trigger coming off the edge for the Bobcats. He is a 2026 prospect on the rise in my eyes that has great upside.

Jackson Lindell, DL, Mosinee, WI 2025 Twitter

Jackson was one of my favorite defensive line prospects I had in my notebook from start to finish at SDSU, as he put all of his skillsets on display for the duration of camp. The fluidity of the 6'1.5 260 pounder, stood out right away in the testing session. Jackson showed off an impressive motor on every rep I got my eyes on him in Brookings, as his positioning with his hands were impressive especially with the great pad-level he displayed all day. He also showed off a prospect that has great position flexibility to both sides of the ball, but the attention to detail I saw him with on the defensive line, showed off what is likely his best fit at the next-level. I caught Jackson too as the UWEC OL/DL MEGA Camp, as a Wisconsin prospect that is making his rounds during camp season to put himself on the map and one that from my eyes is a stockriser from camp season that is deserving of more attention in the coming months.

Reggie Kloehn, DL, Hortonville, WI 2025 Twitter

Let's just say that the great state of Wisconsin was dominant during the SDSU Prospect Camp, as a DL prospect that I thought and heard from college coaches that may have rose his stock the most was Reggie Kloehn of Hortonville. The explosiveness that Reggie showed off during Indy drills and into 1v1s was well-balanced from his hands, explosiveness, as the Co-Defensive Player of the Year from the FVA also showed off plenty of length to utilize those hands stretching out to 6'4 in Brookings which is about 4 inches higher than that his height shows. The flexibility Reggie showed off with his pad-level showed off what looks like the total package with what a college program wants with their technique. Reggie has picked up two more offers since Brookings, which shows you the outing he had and even picked up his first FCS offer as well as another riser via camp season.

[player_tooltip player_id='1279984' first='Nova' last='Lane'], DL, Mount Vernon, IA 2025 Twitter

Five is the magic number of offers that Mount Vernon's [player_tooltip player_id='1279984' first='Nova' last='Lane'] caught from his performance at the SDSU prospect camp, as I would label Nova as the DL Camp MVP with how much he impressed the college coaches in attendance. The nearly 6'4 221 pounder, was another that showed off absurd length stretching out his wingspan out to 6'7 from the early measurables from Brookings. Not many defensive line prospects at this size did you see showing the explosiveness Nova has, as his top number logged in as a 9'9 in the broad jump which with those measurables alone, it's easy to see why he had college programs from all over the NSIC quickly on their radar. The tape shows Nova as a quick smashmouth hitter coming off the edge and one that I saw in Brookings too, how swift his hands were getting off his blocks on all accounts. I would certainly expect Nova to even gain more ground on his recruiting trail if we look over the next month or two.

[player_tooltip player_id='640854' first='Cooper' last='Martinson'], OL, Southeast Polk, IA 2025 Twitter

Cooper was a offensive line prospect that I thought looked more physically appealing from a strength perspective, at the near 6'3 299 pounder from powerhouse Southeast Polk has a solid performance at camp in Brookings. Cooper showed off barreling hands with great leverage at SDSU from my eyes and with his athletic movement for his size, showed off eye-catching fluidity as well from my live-eval. Talk about a young man that has excellent position flexibility on both sides of the trenches, Cooper's tape flashes extreme strength with consistent pad-level that constantly gets downhill and into the heart of the ball carrier's wheelhouse. You never can go wrong too with a multi-sport athlete that also is an accomplished wrestler in the trenches as Division II schools have been high on Cooper over the last handful of weeks and I am glued too with the upside of Cooper at the next level.

Seth Lind, OL, West Central, SD 2025 Hudl

The 6'6 305 pounder from West Central was a new name that right now, shows off some raw skillsets from what I watched at SDSU, but one that college programs should look into seeing what he does with his senior season incoming. His upside showed up with his footwork, as Seth was one that I thought from my eyes showed off a quick learner from seeing what I saw from start to finish in Brookings. With no tape yet available, Seth is certainly a late bloomer to wait for his senior tape to get out, but in the right system could be a very high upside offensive linemen if you are looking for size in the trenches.

Sam was another CL-GLR prospect in the trenches that was a standout in my eyes from his performance at the SDSU prospect camp. The wingspan at 6'5 that Sam showed off was well-utilized in the Indy and 1v1 reps I got to watch as one of the top Iowa camp-earners I tracked in Brookings. I enjoyed watching the speed Sam had with his footwork and the pro agility time (4.71) shows exactly what I got to witness. Sam showed off as one of the best pad-levels amongst the offensive line group I watched and the wired leverage at the point of attack Sam has dominates into the next-level as that constant pad-level presses right in the chest in the bulk of the reps I saw out of him. Sam is one that I could see more NSIC and other scholarship level offers come his way after an impressive showing at SDSU.
