Who will be each team's most valuable player by the end of the 2024 season? We predict who those guy's will be right here for every team in the D2-Class AA ranks.

East Region

Boyd Buchanan Buccaneers: (WR/DB) [player_tooltip player_id='1209539' first='Jayden' last='Moore']

- A-two-way talent for his Bucs team, Moore is the team's top athlete that will handle two key roles this year on both sides of the ball but it's his work at receiver that should land him as a Team MVP.

- - -

Chatt. Christian Chargers: (LB) [player_tooltip player_id='219422' first='Malik' last='Lee']

- The heart and soul of the Chargers team, Lee is a head-hunter that plays a consistent brand of football, doing all the small things right while always being dependable to show up and show out game in and game out.

- - -

CAK Warriors: (WR/S) [player_tooltip player_id='1213957' first='Will' last='Kelley']

- Sporting great size and big hands, Kelley is for sure the team's go-to target that will be expected to produce in a big way this season. His work in the red zone is outstanding and you should see an increase with his athleticism this year as well.

- - -

GCA Rams: (QB) [player_tooltip player_id='301391' first='Weston' last='Edmondson']

- Edmondson has been the starter under center for multiple season's now but I feel his best performance yet will come this season. Sporting great size with good arm strength, Edmondson has the upside to make all the throws needed to help his team succeed.

- - -

Lakeway Christian Academy Lions: (WR/DB) Jesse Stump

- An athletic two-way prospect, Stump will be expected to take on a bigger role this year as his Lions team is in a bit of a transition. Stump is a skilled guy that can provide big play abilities at receiver while playing a steady game on defense at safety.

- - -

Notre Dame Fighting Irish: (RB) [player_tooltip player_id='976043' first='E.J.' last='Carter']

- Coming off a breakout junior year, Carter is the clear cut pre-season MVP for his Irish team that also has a chance to strongly compete for Mr. Football this year. Carter is a problem for opposing defenses due to his quick burst, speed and vision.

- - -

Silverdale Academy Seahawks: (DE) Jaxsten Carson

- The Seahawks appear to be in a transition season, so they will need strong play from their seniors, especially Carsten. This 6'3 defensive end provides a good pass rush along with the ability to play strong versus the run.

- - -

Knox. Webb Spartans: ‘26 (Ath) [player_tooltip player_id='402563' first='Shavar' last='Young, Jr']

- One of the top prospects from the #TN2026 class, Young, Jr is back at Knox. Webb this season and will be expected to produce on both sides of the ball and if he performs at the level I and others think he will, Mr. Football could be in the cards by the end of the year.

- - - - -

Middle Region

BGA Wildcats: ‘26 (QB) [player_tooltip player_id='914547' first='Kaedyn' last='Marable']

- Marable has put in some serious work this off-season to improve and if that work shows anything, I'm expecting a breakout year from this 6 '3 underclassmen that could earn Team MVP honors even against some tough in-house competition.

- - -

CPA Lions: ‘26 (RB) [player_tooltip player_id='1335216' first='Rawls' last='Patterson']

- Patterson came into his own last year as a sophomore where he led his Lions team in rushing. He is expected to do the same this year with an outstanding shot at contending for Mr. Football, if a young offensive line can gel together.

- - -

Davidson Academy Bears: (TE/DE) [player_tooltip player_id='466271' first='Wes' last='Harper']

- Harper has been an active man this off-season where he has put in tons of work to develop his game further and I think it will show on the field next month. He should be the team's top target on offense as well as a top pass rusher on the Bears defense.

- - -

FRA Panthers: ‘26 (Ath) [player_tooltip player_id='1106238' first='Michael' last='Hassell']

- The Panthers will be looking for new guys to step into big roles this year and Hassell sits at the top of that list. A natural athlete that will go both ways, Hassell has big play abilities within himself and the potential to take his talents to the D1 level.

- - -

Goodpasture Cougars: ‘26 (APB) Shynon Dawkins

- The Cougars will be looking for new playmakers to step forward this season and Dawkins is a prime guy to become one of those players. A quick footed athlete, Dawkins could handle a variety of roles on offense this season as well as possibly special teams.

- - -

Pope Prep Knights: (OL) [player_tooltip player_id='1157374' first='Sam' last='Spicer']

- This was a tough call but I had to roll with Spicer as his play up front will be critical towards the succession of others around him on offense. Ranked as a Top 15 O-lineman by #PRZTN, Spicer is an athletic guy that can open holes for his runners as well as keep his quarterback clean.

- - -

Webb School Feet: ‘26 (WR) [player_tooltip player_id='1281472' first='Joel' last='Wyatt']

- The Feet are looking to bounce back after a rough 2023 season and Wyatt could be the guy to push them towards a winning record. This 6'4 long armed wideout is a mismatch problem for opposing defenders due to his size and natural athletic abilities. His performance this year will be key in his team's success.

- - - - -

West Region

ECS Eagles: (QB) [player_tooltip player_id='534630' first='Kade' last='Butler']

- A pass first dual threat quarterback, Butler is a talented signal caller that is without a doubt the leader in the clubhouse for Team MVP. The Eagles senior passer has the kind of skill set to lead ECS into the playoffs while also contending for Mr. Football.

- - -

Lausanne Lynx: ‘26 (Ath) [player_tooltip player_id='860627' first='Jawell' last='Rodgers']

- The Lynx had a few guys to choose from but Rodgers I feel is too important to this team to not be considered Team MVP by season's end. A two-way talent with natural athletic abilities, Rodgers has a knack for making big plays and that kind of performance will be expected this year as this Lynx junior steps into a prominent role.

- - -

Northpoint Christian Trojans: (RB) Damontae Dillard

- A fast and athletic ball carrier with an outside shot at competing for Mr. Football, Dillard has a chance to be “the guy” for his Trojans offense this season. His quick burst running gives him a shot at running for some big yards this year and help lead his Trojans team into the playoffs.

- - -

St. Benedict Eagles: (LB) Tyler Westphall

- Looking through the Eagles roster, opportunity is there for several guys to step up and become the Team's MVP. Westphall is a guy that jumps out to me as someone that can be a difference maker on defense this year and put up some big defensive numbers.

- - -

St. Georges Gryphons: (WR) [player_tooltip player_id='341251' first='Amir' last='Wilson']

- Wilson is one of the best hidden gems we have in the #TN2025 class that should post a breakout year this Fall and boost his recruiting stock significantly. The Gryphons senior wideout has some explosive play about himself that translates well to the college game.

- - -

USJ Bruins: (WR/S) [player_tooltip player_id='1080185' first='Noah' last='Spencer']

- Much will be expected from Spencer this Fall to be Mr. Everything for his Bruins team. This 6 '1 senior two-way athlete should have the ball in his hands a lot this year as he takes snaps at running back, receiver as well as use his ball hawking abilities to make plays at safety too.

Who will be each team's most valuable player by the end of the 2024 season? We predict who those guy's will be right here for every team in the D2-Class AA ranks.
