PRZMI D4 Preseason All-State Defense

Michigan's Division 4 has some amazing defenders. This list includes 12 defenders who are all expected to be game-changers for their respective teams. I absolutely love the grit and effort Wyatt plays with. I expect him to be a GLIAC prospect next offseason, and a probable All-State player in Division 4.   DB - [player_tooltip player_id='318570' first='Marcello' last='Vitti'] - Divine Child (JR)   Marcello is advertised as one of the hardest working and most talented athletes in Michigan. Holding sever P4 offers, I expect Marcello to continue his greatness.   DB - [player_tooltip player_id='567009' first='Jajuan' last='Jones'] - Harper Woods (JR)   Jajuan has had himself a phenomenal offseason where he's earned offers from Ball State and Eastern Michigan. I'd be surprised if he wasn't all-state this season.   DB - [player_tooltip player_id='1148738' first='Tanner' last='Mazich'] - Goodrich (JR)   Another multi-positional athlete who can earn all-state at several positions. As a defensive back, Tanner is incredibly reactive and sports a high IQ. Obviously, he's also a great athlete.   LB - [player_tooltip player_id='1225702' first='Dawson' last='Dabler'] - Haslett (JR)   A relatively unknown prospect who had a great sophomore season. A possible college prospect, I expect Dawson to have a truly special breakout season.   LB - [player_tooltip player_id='602179' first='Nolan' last='Vis'] - Unity Christian (SR)   Coming off an all-state season, there's no reason to believe that he won't do it again. Nolan is one of my favorite prospects in West Michigan and someone who's deserving of a lot more attention.   LB - Owen Smies - Spring Lake (SR)   Another relatively unknown linebacker, Owen had a phenomenal 2023 season. After some key defensive departures, I expect Owen to step up a whole lot more.   LB - [player_tooltip player_id='247648' first='Matthew' last='McCraw'] - Harper Woods (SR)   Yes, another Harper Woods player who I expect to earn all-state. This offseason, Matthew has earned several offers from D2 schools. I love the effort and IQ Matthew brings to the linebacker position and I'd be surprised if Matthew was anything less than elite this season.   DL - [player_tooltip player_id='1290840' first='Tyler' last='Brinks'] - South Christian (SR)   Tyler is someone who blew up out of nowhere this offseason. His measurables are extremely attractive to several Division 1 schools, and he's developing well as an EDGE rusher. That, paired with his work at PSTS, makes him a sure-fire candidate for All-State.   DL - [player_tooltip player_id='247693' first='Bryant' last='Weatherspoon'] - Harper Woods (SR)   Bryant has been a phenomenal defensive lineman for Harper Woods for a long time now. He absolutely dominates the Michigan High School football scene and he's going to be a great player at Toledo.   DL - [player_tooltip player_id='603738' first='Jevon' last='Jones Jr'] - Harper Woods (SR)   Jevon is another amazing Harper Woods D-Lineman. An incredibly explosive defender, he'll be an all-state player.   DL - Ben Sennabaum - Goodrich (SR)   Earning all-state honors from the Detroit Free Press last season, I expect Ben to have an even better season this fall.
