Outstate ballers – Northwestern Minnesota

This quality not only allows him to cover a large area deep but gets him involved in plays underneath that other safeties might not be able to. His speed and instincts enable him to recover if he gets out of position. He often makes the proper read to come off his man and make plays off his primary assignment. He's not just a cover guy; Thielges plays the run well, too. He uses his hands well to get off blocks and has solid tackling technique. He was also one of the most explosive. He is a complete runner. Depending on the situation, he hits the hole hard or picks his spots to make a quick cut in the backfield. Once he sees an opening, he hits the gas pedal as well as anyone in the state. Wright has a great combination of break-a-way speed and break tackle abilities. He is a weapon in the passing game, too – and not just as a dump-off option in the flat. Defensively, he has the speed to track down plays all over the field and has good ball skills as a defensive back. In short, he is one of the most dominating players at the 9-man level. As an inside runner, he can make multiple tacklers miss in a two or three-yard area. Once he gets into the open field, he has good speed to separate from most defensive backs. His great vision and quick feet make him elusive. These skills allow him to make people miss and stay in the open field. He is comfortable coming out of the backfield to get into a route and catch some balls. Like Wright, Bolgrean is out there running routes, not just floating into the flat as a safety valve. He has the arm to push the ball deep down the field but also has nice touch on those deep balls. He is able to line up both in the shotgun and under center. The Lakers' athlete is athletic enough and has the arm strength to put plenty of juice on throws when on the move. On shorter throws, Strand throws a tight, catchable ball. He has prototypical size for a pocket quarterback. However, his long, somewhat thin build does not stop him from hurting defenses with his legs. He has a long-striding style but is still able to make effective cuts in the open field.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
