Expert Analysis
Brian Jerzak | Prep Redzone Scout
After a nine-yard run up the middle, Wright showed speed to the corner the next time he touched the ball. He then showed good athletic ability, making quick moves for 20 yards. Quick feet at the line of scrimmage – with help from a block by Caleb Stoltman – got Wright into the open field. He hurdled through a hole to pick up a first down. Then, he showed speed to the corner with a trap block by Stoltman. After Wright’s short touchdown run, he picked up big yards on a run off a block by Drew Gullickson. On fourth and short, Wright found room behind Michah Iverson and Jack Leiser for a first down. On defense, he grabbed an interception off a tip from Bryer Strem Bryer Strem 5'9" | 150 lbs | DB Fertile-Beltrami | 2026 State MN .

With over 2000 yards rushing and 33 touchdowns, Wright was one of the most productive backs in the state. He was also one of the most explosive. He is a complete runner. Depending on the situation, he hits the hole hard or picks his spots to make a quick cut in the backfield. Once he sees an opening, he hits the gas pedal as well as anyone in the state. Wright has a great combination of break-a-way speed and break tackle abilities. He is a weapon in the passing game, too – and not just as a dump-off option in the flat. Defensively, he has the speed to track down plays all over the field and has good ball skills as a defensive back. In short, he is one of the most dominating players at the 9-man level. He would match up well with anyone in the higher classes.

Wright is a dynamic and versatile football player, showcasing exceptional skills that make him a problematic player for defenses to gameplan around. His standout attribute is the great initial burst, allowing him to accelerate rapidly and gain an advantage over defenders. Wright’s tenacity is evident in his ability to fight through contact, complemented by exceptional contact balance. His agility and sharp cuts in changing direction contribute to his elusiveness in the open field, making him a challenging player to bring down. Wright’s determination to fight for extra yards and his twitchy athletic playstyle make him tough to tackle in one-on-one situations. His willingness to put his shoulder down and run through defenders adds a powerful dimension to his running style.

Isaiah is a WR prospect that popped onto our radar from his performance at this spring’s Prep Redzone Dakotas Showcase, and certainly did not slow down his stock-rising skillsets at the UND Flagship Camp. He keeps looking more catchy into summer with his change of direction which he showed off swiftly up in Grand Forks from my eyes. Isaiah showed off quick instincts with adjusting back to the ball with his quick trigger and developing hands as a prospect that plays the role of a swiss army knife on tape offensively at Fertile-Beltrami as a prospect with a heck of amount of elusive skillsets. Isaiah will need to keep developing his hands and route-running over the coming years for more next-level looks at wide receiver but the speed and open field awareness this young man has and the driving skillsets he is growing certainly looks like a scholarship-level prospect at the next-level.
