JAMESTOWN-- We make our biggest camp run of the year as far miles go, as all the fun starts at the Jamestown Jimmies prospect camp last Thursday. With the Jimmies on their way into the Northern Sun Conference and the Division II level, the buzz of talent flying around Charlotte and Gordon Hansen Stadium was at a high level with prospects coming as far as California to camp with the Jimmies. With well over 120 athletes in attendance, we unleash on who were in our eyes the standouts of the camp. We have several states represented and talent thru the roof from our camp reports from Jamestown.

Burke was the first prospect I had logged in my notebook, as one that passed my eye test immediately. The 6'3 nearly 240 pounder tight end from Colorado showed off showed off a very noticably fluid first step off the snap and during 1v1s he showed off very strong hands in some of the catches he made in front of us and of course caught the eyes of Jamestown coaching staff too, walking out with an offer in Jamestown. Getting a school record for receiving touchdowns as a junior, I love this kid's route running and how it will translate at the next level as he only needs a little space to operate the strength of his instinctive hands.

Riley was one of the first Dakotas prospects to pop out in Jamestown, as Riley's length in person certainly rose to be longer than what you might see on tape. This young man's character too will spark inside a college locker room as a humble young man that his trip to Jamestown paid off in his first offer. Riley showed off a route-runner that I could tell has a great football IQ and made a ton of noise during 1v1s with the versatility that he showed in his routes. He certainly was a WR prospect that from camp start to camp end, rose up my 2025 recruiting board in South Dakota, as one that I still feel is a sleeper for more opportunities at the Division II level.

Jack Bouzis, DB/ATH, Thunder Basin, WY 2025 Twitter

The bouncy flexibility that Jack showed off with his loose hips in Jamestown struck a quick chord in my notebook in Jimmies Country. Jack showed off the explosiveness I wanted to see in the triple jump, as a another 2025 athlete that I love the upside he can grow at the next-level. That bounce in his hips translate quickly on tape as a free safety in my eyes at the next level as the change of direction that Jack shows getting downhill. His vision also flashed in Jamestown as one that has upside to see in pass coverage but is a huge asset as a run stopper with his great strides he showed off. Another one that landed a Jimmies offer after camp.

Carter Harrod, WR, Millwood Christian, AB 2025 Twitter

A pass-catcher that caught my eyes right away in Jamestown was Alberta 2025 wide receiver Carter Harrod. The 6'5 203 pounder recorded a pro agility inside the mid 4.5s that I saw in person and also showed the upside that is there with his triple jump. His tape screams out the upside I saw in Jamestown as Carter plays like a man amongst boys and constantly tapes the top off the secondary as his strides were some of the longest I saw in Jamestown amongst the receiving core. Positionally he looks like a tight end at the next-level as he can develop more sudden athletic movement in the open field. In my eyes, Carter is a hidden gem coming out of Alberta that certainly will be playing on Saturdays.

Great Falls High has made some good noise in my notebook this summer with their athletes on the camp trail which in Jamestown, included 2026 athlete Noah Scoates. The dexterity that Noah's lower body showed off in Jamestown showed off great athleticism from what I witnessed in person. Noah might be very light on the tape, but I would expect his junior year to be an impactful one as a 5'9 200 pounder that certainly shows off high upside to grow in the coming years as one that should show more appealing change of direction as a run stopper.

The newest Minot State Beavers running back commit was a prospect I had circled pre-camp as one I had to watch, as he showed off impressive tape as a junior. His footwork and athletic balance was very appealing to me as I loved how much finish I saw out of Jordan in every rep he took in Jamestown. His great hands coming out of the backfield was also eye-catching during 1v1s as his poise on routes showed off a great football IQ. Jordan also will bring Minot State a RB prospect with A+ character, as that was one of the biggest skillset that certainly showed out during camp. He certainly is the definition of a small town hidden gem in my eyes.

The Jamestown High Blue Jays has always impressed me with their athletic weapons they have always played with over the years, as that was the case with 2025 linebacker Max Rittenbach a few Thursdays ago. One of the top triple jumpers I saw in person, Max jumped nearly 30 feet at the Jimmes prospect camp as his jump left an impression, but the balance he had during that triple jump also caught my eyes. Later in camp, Max showed off very quick shedding hands as one that matches with what you see on tape. Personally, I think the instinct this young man plays with are under the radar as although he is light on the tape, there is no doubt to me that there is a spot for this young man playing college football with a booming senior season upcoming to get more tape out there.

Jeric was a 2025 wide receiver from Sauk Centre that put up some very impressive testing numbers at the Jamestown Jimmies prospect camp across the board and getting to watch his 30+ inch triple jump had me very impressed with this young man. Jeric also showed off very sudden getting into the open field in Jamestown as the excellent balance of his track, testing numbers, and play on the field all matched up very on point. Jeric's elusiveness struck a chord with me as he is a wide receiver prospect that gets constant yards after contact. Jeric also showed off his great hands and showed off as an improviser on his routes that if the first look wasn't there, he was treading all day in Jamestown to get his second look. In my eyes, this Outstate Minnesota wide receiver is severaly under the radar, and would make an excellent wide receiver in the Jimmies offense after getting offer #1 in Jamestown.

Easily my LB1 at the Jamestown prospect camp was Travis Ledbetter who made the long trip from Rocklin, California totally worth the trip to North Dakota. Watching this young man work his change of direction all day was fun to watch and it all started with his pro agility, in which I believe he logged one of the best pro agility amongst the campers in attendance. The 5'11 195 pounder crashes into the ball carrier like a madman as he plays hugely bigger than his measurables will show you for the linebacker position. Big fan of how sound Travis smashes into the backfield with excellent instincts. He certainly too is a linebacker that is very rangy from sideline to sideline and has an very wirey motor to get to the point of attack. Huge sleeper in my eyes out of Northern Cali that his best football

Even though Jack was just at our May Prep Redzone Dakotas Combine and a member of our 1st Team All-Camp team at linebacker, even since then I can tell this young man has made great strides improving his skillsets. Where I saw the development show off was during Indy Drills, as Jack poised together not only better change of direction getting to the ball but you can tell that his technique has improved in just a short time. Love this kid's character too, as he certainly will be the fuel in his future college locker room. He is another linebacker in Jamestown that quickly passes the eye test with all the strength he has built in his upper body. I also feel that Jack has improved with his vision as I could even tell pre-snap that he his gifted with a quickly growing football IQ. I know I said it at our Prep Redzone Dakotas Combine too, but there was even slight growth with Jack's tight footwork that shows off a linebacker that has some position flexibility on which linebacker positon he will play in college.

Izaak was one of my favorite defensive backs of the day at the Jamestown Jimmies prospect camp and is one that I feel is severaly under the radar despite coming out of a hotbed football program in North Dakota. The nearly 6'3 180 pounder from Kindred, was one that stuck out in 1v1s, as his long arms and sound ball-tracking ability was a great example of a prospect that the live-eval does all the justice in a college camp setting. I would love to see what Izaak's wingspan would be, as this young man used every ounce of his length to his advantage during 1v1s causing chaos versus wide receivers. Positionally, Izaak fits the mold of a strong safety at the next-level and I wouldn't be surprised to see his recruiting amp up within the first couple of weeks in early fall. Izaak is certainly a North Dakota defensive back that is due to be stockriser by next rankings update this August.

The last time I got a live-eval on Logan was our last Prep Redzone Dakotas Combine in Jamestown, as this young man has developed significantly since then. What did I see Logan develop from last winter? I could certainly tell that Logan has gotten more poised as a route-runner knowing when to utilize his change of direction to get seperation on his break. Logan also was a prospect that struck a chord with me with his attention to detail, asking the Jimmies coaching and working out of line on the technical skillsets they gave him. I always love seeing a young man doing that during camp and watching his next rep, as during 1v1s Logan took advantage of perfecting his craft thru coaching and showed off to me what a quick learner this young man is going to be at the next level. Logan would be a young man I would offer right now if I was a Dakotas NAIA school as his technique is only going to get better with his great work ethic. Logan is another young man that aced the character test in Jamestown.
