There are some intriguing and still under-the-radar athletes in the Sauk Centre 2025 class, one of whom is having a good junior season the track for the Mainstreeters. A 6′, 180 lb. WR, Jeric Schloegl recently popped off an 11.24 100M time to put himself up in the top performers for the still-budding 2024 outdoor season. The athleticism that Schloegl showed in his 11.24 100M time shows up in his football tape as well, as the 180 lber. is a playmaker who flashes some impressive reps in his 2023 junior film.
Able to play the X or operate out of the slot, Schloegl can take the top off the defense, plays the ball well in the air and can win in 50/50 situations, and can create separation and is nasty at the top of the route. He posted 53 receptions and 40 rushes for 839 yards and 10 TDs in 2023. The 6′ wideout is particularly dangerous after the catch, showing off great balance, especially through contact, burst, and quick feet, along with that now-verified game-changing speed. His athleticism really was really spotlighted by some highlight-reel worthy one-handed snags off a full arm extension as well, and he’s got one of the more balanced skillsets in the talented 2025 MN WR class. So far, he’s visited Concordia-Moorhead, Southwest Minnesota State, Winona State, and many DII and DII I programs are interested + FCS schools sniffing around. As they should, the speed and the junior tape are an impressive combination. Keep it up, Jeric!
