I've discussed [player_tooltip player_id='1301053' first='Zachary' last='Kitchen'] quite a few times over this offseason. In short, Zachary is one of the best 6'0" linemen I've seen. The unfortunate truth of the matter is that if Zachary was 6'5", I'd expect him to have MAC offers. One of the most consistent prospects I've seen, Zach has the same kick step followed by the same punch, agility, and good recovery. That, plus prowess in the weight room, make him an incredible Division 3 prospect. I know a lot of D3s that love Zach as a prospect, and I think he can earn several more offers with continued prowess on the field and in the classroom. I look forward to watching Zachary this season, and I hope to see him on a College Football field soon.

I'm expecting a very good season out of RJ. First off, the 6'6" 255lb size is very nice to see, and it gives him a higher ceiling than most offensive linemen. As for RJ's tape, it's a mixed bag. Starting with pass sets, RJ knows what he's doing, yet he's consistently inconsistent. During his pass sets, I like how RJ takes his kick step while immediately putting his hands up. What I'd like to see moving forward is a bit more depth on his step plus better recovery when things go south. Still, I'm just going off the highlight tape. As for run blocking, RJ is generally a very strong lineman who can shove people into the dirt. Though, I suspect that RJ needs to work on his footwork past his first step. Very quickly, RJ can become very off-balance and out of control. I'm just scratching the surface here, but generally, know that RJ has incredible upside and can reach his ceiling if he cleans up the fundamentals. This season will be HUGE for his recruitment.

It's incredibly difficult to stand out as a Center, but Garrett has done just that. I personally haven't seen Garrett in person, but his SVSU offer makes me optimistic about his potential outside of the dominant run-blocking shown on tape. Speaking on his tape, Garrett is a pure, hard-nosed run blocker. Specifically, Garrett is relentless in using his leverage to smash open running lanes in the middle of the offensive line. He has a quick first step, followed by a great initial pop + bench-pressing his defender. From the outside looking in, Garrett seems like a great leader, a high-effort player, and a headache for any defensive coordinator trying to stop the inside run. I will say that Garrett's tape is very one-dimensional, but then again, I love the one dimension that he shows.

Deshawn is another lineman who's had a great offseason. In fact, I've watched Deshawn a few times in person, and he's been solid during all showings. I especially like how fundamentally sound Deshawn is with his pass sets. Feet are consistent, has a great initial punch, and can recover better than most linemen. With a great season, Deshawn WILL earn several more offers. I'm honestly surprised that he hasn't received more offers, and I'd expect offers to come as prospects begin committing.

Zavier is someone on my D3 Preseason All-State list and someone I expect to perform at a very high-level next season. His size makes him a potential D1 prospect, but he still needs to improve before reaching those heights. Mainly, Zavier can look stiff during his pass sets. His feet can be a tad slow, and I'd expect faster D-Lineman to blow past him. As for his tape, it's a bit difficult to see where he is at some points, as he played for a different program in the past. Now at MLK, I expect Zavier to show a ton of improvement. A few months of consistent hard work can and will pay off in a big way! I hope to see that improvement, and I look forward to seeing how Zavier fares this fall.

Talon comes in at #127 after a truly great offseason. I've recounted this story a few times now, but here it is again. I first saw Talon at the HAWK camp in Farmington. There, GVSU Head Coach Scott Wooster took notice of Talon. I watched as Talon won some reps and lost some reps, then got coached up by Coach Wooster. Quickly, Talon corrected a few of his mistakes and showed some immediate improvement. Quite some time later, I watched Talon at the GVSU Prospect Camp. Talon showed improvement from the HAWK Camp, put up some good reps against great competition, and earned an offer afterwards. Talon remains as an underrated prospect all the way up in Marquette, and I have no doubt he has a high ceiling at the D2 level.
