Evan has good hips, can turn and run with anyone, and reads out plays as they are developing really well, then gets a good break on the ball and can make the pick. He also plays receiver and has the skills to return a turnover for big yardage with his quickness and elusive running ability. A strong special teams player as well. Had 13 tackles on varsity as a freshman.

[player_tooltip player_id='1265525' first='Carter' last='Temple'] - QB - Kearney
(6'3" 190) Uncommitted
- A super intriguing quarterback prospect who caught my attention at the KC Varsity combine back in April. Carter has great size physical development as you can tell he has spent quality time in the weight room. He tested exceptionally well running a 4.69 laser forty and vertical jumped 33" on the day. Even more impressive was the poise and skills he displayed in drills and one on ones with his feet, arm strength, release and accuracy he showed. Temple seemed like a much older and experienced QB. A big time athlete, Carter won a 16u national championship in Greco-Roman wrestling this month. Also a linebacker, he looks ready for a breakout season as a sophomore.

[player_tooltip player_id='681933' first='Logan' last='Mayfield'] - WR - Lee's Summit North
(6'0" 170) Uncommitted
- Another piece of the insanely talented freshman football class at North. Logan has all the tools you look for in a receiver, starting with some elite speed that he showed this past spring at the KC Varsity combine in St. Louis by running a blazing 4.47 laser forty yard dash. Logan uses his impressive speed and quickness to run good routes and get open. He has good hands and is just scratching the surface of his talent. Watched him play as a freshman and he stood out among the top weapons on that team. He'll be part of a very talented Broncos receiving corps and will have to earn his reps. Mayfield is on the right trajectory to be another college prospect in the North program.

[player_tooltip player_id='813880' first='Jameson' last='Honey'] - DL - Lindbergh
(6'3" 245) Uncommitted
- One of the many talented defensive linemen who make up the 2027 class in Missouri. Jameson is a combination of strength, explosiveness and terrific motor that he puts together and be a disruptive force for opposing offensive linemen and offenses. He has a good first step, really uses his hands well and battles hard. He can play outside on the edge or inside as a defensive tackle and is tough with his pass rush or using his athleticism to beat guards and tackles. He had a big offseason with good showings at camps and combines.
