Temple is a legit dual threat with the capability to bring the ball down and make something happen with his legs. Friday’s game wasn’t a remarkable statistical outpouring of production, but Temple took over the 4th quarter and led three scoring drives to open the game up to its inevitable final score. Several times he displayed the capability to escape a dirty pocket and create a play. First play of the 4th, and on 4th down, he took the QB keeper off the left side, bullied his way through traffic and forearm shivered a defender heading into the endzone to extend the lead 17-6. Another score on the ground came short yardage after taking the fake field goal as the holder down to the 2. The multi-sport star finished with 117 total yards and 3 touchdowns, showing great prime time leadership in the clutch.
