As the month of July is coming to a close, the 2024 high school football season is almost here! With that in mind, another round of rankings updates is currently in progress. After already covering the class of 2025, we have now moved on to the class of 2026 with a new Top 150 update being officially posted. Now that this update has been published, I will be taking the next week or so to break down the rankings by position. After already covering the quarterbacks and running backs, here are our top wide receivers in the class of 2026 in the state of Kentucky.

[player_tooltip player_id='212337' first='Trevy' last='Barber'] has continued to establish himself as the top wide receiver in the state in his class. He is coming off a strong sophomore year in which he caught 84 passes for 1,189 yards and 16 touchdowns in 15 games. Barber is a dangerous deep threat, using his speed to blow by opposing defensive backs with ease. He is also an impressive route runner, showing the ability to use smooth breaks in his routes to create separation. Trevy also returned one kickoff for a touchdown and threw one touchdown pass as a sophomore. Barber currently holds offers from Troy, Austin Peay, Miami (OH), and Eastern Kentucky, and I expect more to come his way as I believe he has the talent to play at the Power 4/FBS level.

[player_tooltip player_id='212336' first='Marlon' last='Harbin'] is a wide receiver who has stayed continuously high on our radar over the past couple seasons. Harbin had a solid sophomore year, catching 60 passes for 703 yards and six touchdowns in 12 games. The main thing that stands out with Harbin is his explosive speed. He is able to use this to blow by defensive backs to create separation and to pick up extra yards after the catch. Harbin also returned one kickoff for a touchdown and came away with two interceptions last season. Marlon currently holds offers from Kentucky, Louisville, North Alabama, Miami (OH), Toledo, Missouri State, and UT Martin, and I expect more to come his way as he is a high caliber wide receiver prospect.

[player_tooltip player_id='894941' first='Ronald' last='Lunz'] is another wide receiver who has been high on our radar for a while now. Lunz is coming off a solid sophomore season in which he caught 40 passes for 589 yards and five touchdowns in nine games. Ronald is a very reliable target in the deep passing game, using his speed and quick breaks in his routes to create separation from opposing defensive backs. He is also impressive after the catch, showing the ability to use his speed and elusiveness to pick up extra yards. Lunz currently holds offers from Kentucky, Western Kentucky, and Miami (OH), and I expect more to come his way as he is a Power 4/FBS caliber prospect.

[player_tooltip player_id='1326116' first='Kamani' last='Barbour'] is a player who jumped onto our radar following a solid sophomore season. He finished this past season with 10 catches for 233 yards and a touchdown in 13 games. Kamani is the type of player who you get the ball in his hands and let him do the rest. He has shown the speed and elusiveness in the open field to turn short passes/screens into big plays at any given moment. Barbour is also an impressive route runner, showing the ability to create separation with ease. He is also a dangerous returner on special teams, returning one kickoff for a touchdown as a sophomore. Kamani currently holds an offer from Eastern Kentucky and I expect more to come his way as he is a Division I caliber prospect with two years to continue to develop.

Morris is coming off a strong sophomore season in which he finished with 28 receptions for 467 yards and six touchdowns in 14 games. Chadyn is a dangerous deep threat, using his speed to create separation and showing the ability to catch passes over his shoulder without losing stride. He has also shown the ability to use his speed to turn short passes into big plays. Morris currently holds offers from Howard and Kentucky Wesleyan, and I expect more to come his way as he is a Division I caliber wide receiver prospect.
