After rolling up my sleeves and getting to work, here are the prospects who performed at an extremely high level last fall, and thus, made the biggest jump in our official rankings.

[player_tooltip player_id='846959' first='Darren' last='Ikinnagbon'] is the type of defensive line prospect that affords versatility and scary potential - potential so high that the Georgia Bulldogs made him an offer he could not refuse. His current-day skills are promising: he is a violent mover who executes tremendous rips inside. Although he inconsistently gets his hands on the man in front of him, when he does he shows that he feels pressure. At the very least, Ikinnagbon is highly twitchy and, surprisingly, I do not think we have seen film of him truly turn up to achieve peak running speed. This said, I do suspect that his long frame has high-speed potential. Ikinnagbon has also shown us that he can drive his feet through tackles and has decent pad level for someone so tall. He has tremendous quickness in his first step, which makes him a special talent on the line. To my naked eye, it appears that Hillside may have Ikinnagbon play two-gaps at moments.

Prior Overall Ranking: 35

New Overall Ranking: 12

New Positional Rank: 2

https://twitter.com/AceSZNF/status/1779325982362435987

The #2 overall tight end in the class of 2025 suits up for Princeton's Hun School and has committed to Holy Cross. [player_tooltip player_id='960399' first='Drae' last='Tyme'] is a prospect with great upside and has room to climb the rankings as he prepares for his senior season. First, Tyme has speed that allows him to get up the sideline and rip off big gainers. As an in-line blocker, he does a great job of keeping his feet engaged and moving. Moreover, perhaps better than any offensive lineman that I can recall, Tyme has great feet as he takes and maintains short, choppy steps when base blocking. At the second level or when pulling, he does extend his arms a bit too much for my liking, but when in-line they are much tighter. Tyme also can read defenders and open up is routes (i/e stick route) to the correct leverage. Lastly, he adjusts to tipped balls well and pins the ball when engaging with contact. His bend, however, can improve some.

Prior Overall Ranking: 153

New Overall Ranking: 47

New Positional Rank: 2

https://twitter.com/draetyme/status/1807816142993375576

Another Mercer County prospect, [player_tooltip player_id='874013' first='Samuel' last='Lateju'], is comes in as our fourth defensive lineman in the rankings update. An edge player, Lateju has a very quick get off that explodes. We see that he can turn power into speed and is exceptional when attacking the soft shoulder. Something I genuinely love, Lateju appears jubilated when he is making big plays all over the field. Technically, Lateju does a great job of getting his hands on and extended while keeping his feet moving forward. This allows him to consistently establish a new line of scrimmage in the backfield and force backs to slow down or bounce. Versus read option he surfs well and plays at good depth. He does tackle a bit high when pass rushing and is more upright when standing off the edge. I want to see Lateju take on pullers using the wrong arm rather than extending his arms. Lateju plans to suit up for the Wisconsin Badgers in the fall of 2025.

Prior Overall Ranking: 51

New Overall Ranking: 16

New Positional Rank: 4

https://twitter.com/lanrewajulateju/status/1764787984707011052

Abesgami, or simply "Gami" as I have recently learned, has about three outstanding prospects I have identified thus far from their roster. First up is [player_tooltip player_id='689480' first='Shamir' last='Harper']. Harper gets great breaks on the ball while playing either corner or safety. His backpedal is fluid and balanced allowing him to do so, at any given route depth. His tackling is very good. As a receiver he is all gas and no breaks, never slowing down as he runs. Harper also has the ability to high point the ball. Harper will fight and punch the ball out with all his might should the opposing receiver get his hands on it. He rides his matchup's hip when in press coverage and play underneath coverage off of that. At times he will body catch. Harper is still looking for a home upon graduating.

Prior Overall Ranking: 141

New Overall Ranking: 46

New Positional Rank: 6

https://twitter.com/ShamirHarper2/status/1765426522385522730

Sandwiched between our second and fourth ranked defensive linemen is #3, [player_tooltip player_id='343145' first='Delaney' last='Fludd']. Fludd sets up his inside moves, getting to stated inside extremely quick. He has an ability to play with a lower pad level than his matchups - something I seldom praise for defensive linemen. This allows him to win a bullrush whenever he so chooses to deploy it. Fludd stacks his moves in tandem nicely, citing how he used a swipe into a rip. Never overzealous, he maintains the integrity of his pass rush lane. When spinning, Fludd secures his pathway by landing the pin part of the move - although I think there is opportunity for him to hit this move more quickly as footwork and torque improve. A tough ask when playing nose, he can knock back centers at times, collapsing them back into the other a gap and eliminating that gap in the process. Great at disengaging, he sometimes plays too high to work across the face of his matchup. This, and getting his weight room numbers up a bit more, will allow him to dominate and take a big leap into the rankings stratosphere.

Prior Overall Ranking: 41

New Overall Ranking: 13

New Positional Rank: 3

https://twitter.com/DFludd1/status/1691501477875818510
