Sanders was born to be on a football field and anytime he’s stepped onto the field, he’s proven it’s clear he belongs. His frame is elite and is built to play at the next level. He’s got rare length and almost always will have first contact. He’s also fairly light on his feet for his size and does a decent job staying off of his heels. Blocking upfront for one of the State’s best programs and thriving is always a good indicator of future potential.
Highlights
Curry is a big-bodied recruit who is still finding his way on the field. He’s fairly athletic for his size and plays on both sides of the ball. Offensively, he’s aggressive when coming downhill and has no issue going on the move as well. Defensively, he’s strong enough to break off blocks and make interior tackles. He’s a big weight room guy as well which should only help him as he transitions to the next level.

Wine has been a fairly consistent and reliable option upfront for Delta since he first stepped on their field. He’s a smart player who knows when to make adjustments and how to make them without putting himself in a bad spot. He’s got a frame with good center mass and muscle which really helps him in the running game coming downhill. While the offensive line isn’t always the most appreciated position, it’s so important to have smart versatile players upfront and Wine fits that mold on the interior.
Highlights
Cross has played on both sides of the ball throughout his career and I’ve gone back and forth watching his tape trying to decide what side of the ball he’s got more potential on. Offensively, he’s got good length, a high motor, and doesn’t place his hands on the outside. Defensively, he’s aggressive and doesn’t let up. He’s able to bullrush from time to time and as he developed in the weight room could begin throwing linemen around. He’s a bit raw, but his potential is top-notch.
Jacobi is a fantastic athlete who has plenty of experience on both sides of the ball. He’s someone who could be used as a TE at the next level, but he’s got minimal experience. However, they’ve attempted to use him on offense because he is so athletic. While I tend to think he stays on defense, it’s interesting to wonder what he could do offensively. On the defensive side of the ball, he’s good at creating pressure and getting behind the line. If he doesn’t get home he’ll throw his hands up and deflect the pass. Little things go a long way and Jacobi could be a hidden gem.
