Top Newcomers In 2025 Ranking Update

We've seen a ton of football this offseason from the 7v7 circuit to camps to most recently with team camps. We kicked off our month of ranking updates last week with a look at the 2027 class as they head into their sophomore seasons this fall. Last week, it was time to look at the 2026 class. On Monday, our 2025 rankings were updated to include the Top 200 players in the upcoming senior class. In this post, we're putting the spotlight on five prospects who have entered the rankings for the first time. With each ranking update, we get new additions, but these guys are debuting in high spots. And Young is already a borderline top 30 overall prospect and he could end up higher. Young missed a lot of last season with an injury but when he's out on the field and healthy, he has the potential to absolutely blow up. He really impressed us when we caught him in action during team camp in May. And this came a few weeks after having a very successful track season. Young could see his recruitment take off with a healthy senior season. Schwoegler leads an experienced Stillwater offensive line into this season and he's had a solid offseason, where his recruitment has started to take off. He's earned a handful of offers and has more interest from other college programs. With Schwoegler leading an offensive line that brings back four of five starters, don't be surprised if the Pioneers have a massive season on the offensive side of the ball. He immediately passed the eye test and looked like one of the best linebackers in attendance that day. Carson has good size, speed and flies around the field. He checks a lot of the boxes and might be flying under the radar right now as a prospect. But you can't argue with his size and production because there aren't many questions about him as a prospect. He was one of the better cover cornerbacks that we watched at various 7v7 tournaments and he's carried that momentum into the spring and summer. The new coaches at Booker T Washington are very high on his potential to be that lockdown cornerback in the Booker T Washington defense. And it's not exactly a secret that the Hornet football program produces high level defensive backs and Overstreet could be the next name to watch. Humble is a 2025 prospect that we are very high on after watching him in person at our camp back in April. First off, he tested incredibly well for his size. High school guys that are his size rarely move that fast but Humble put up some strong times. Stillwater's defensive line has a couple guys to look out for and Humble is definitely one of them. Now, as a prospect, the question becomes is he truly a defensive lineman or could he move back to linebacker?
