It's long been known that a good performance at a prospect camp can lead to scholarship opportunities if you're prepared. These seven prospects have competed hard and stood out among the crowd since the beginning of June. Their preparation has met opportunity at the right time. The 2027 prospects, [player_tooltip player_id='489202' first='Khalil' last='Taylor'] and [player_tooltip player_id='648230' first='Sa'Nir' last='Brooks'], are the youngest among the seven players highlighted. Upperclassmen [player_tooltip player_id='646780' first='Aaron' last='Loritts'], [player_tooltip player_id='263062' first='Jaiden' last='Brown-Demery'], [player_tooltip player_id='598821' first='Daniel' last='Batch'], [player_tooltip player_id='1317136' first='Lenair' last='Butler'], and [player_tooltip player_id='319836' first='Vann' last='Kavals'] will also be covered in this post.

One recruit I'm not surprised to see having a great showing at prospect camps so far is [player_tooltip player_id='263062' first='Jaiden' last='Brown-Demery']. He's reassured the Pitt and WVU staffs that he was a sound choice for an offer based on his performances at their respective camps. The 6'4, 345 lbs mammoth of a prospect is surprisingly light on his feet during drills. He's a natural kick slider with the strength to stonewall defensive linemen trying to pass rush. More often than not, a rep against Brown-Demery in a one-on-one pass rush setting equals a loss for the defender. The West Mifflin enforcer has offers from West Virginia, Pitt, Wisconsin, Duke, Toledo, Temple, Bowling Green, and Kent State.

Loritts, a 6'2, 213 lbs hybrid edge/OLB, picked up his first scholarship offer from Miami (OH) after competing at their prospect camp. Aaron has shown potential not only on defense but also as a TE/H-back. You can catch a glimpse of his athleticism by watching him track a deep ball down for a score on his game film. He has a nose for the ball and isn't afraid to tackle a ball carrier or collide with a defender as a lead blocker. If the work I've seen him put in is any indication of his progress, he's definitely primed for more FBS opportunities. Aaron will be attending Rutgers' prospect camp this weekend and WVU's camp on the 17th of this month.

Kavals demonstrated why he's considered a D1 prospect at Pitt's prospect camp. Most recently, he was offered by Lehigh on June 2nd. Vann's ideal 6'5, 240 lbs frame, combined with his agility, make him a prospect to watch. He's a physical player who uses his hands well for engaging, disengaging, or batting down passes. His speed off the ball aids him in rushing the passer. Kavals also holds opportunities from Miami (OH), Air Force, Akron, UPenn, and RMU.

Butler is a 6'3, 220 lbs first-team all-conference DE from Woody High. The 2025 Wolverine prospect has a fast get-off and redirects well in run pursuit. His motor and his ability to engage and disengage are next-level qualities for his position. Not only does Butler have adequate size, but his 515 lbs deadlift suggests his strength is also impressive. He recently attended RMU's prospect camp, where he had a decent outing but left without an offer. Yesterday, Butler received his first D1 scholarship opportunity from the University of Maine.

Daniel is a prospect I'm pleased to say I accurately assessed as having a D1 skillset. Despite not playing football for very long, he already has 12 offers to show for it. His most recent scholarships came from Central State, Navy, New Hampshire, Bryant, Towson, and Lincoln U. Batch is a playmaker with next-level pass-catching ability on 50/50 balls. He's been timed at a 10.9 in the 100-meter dash and a personal best of 4.4 in the 40-yard dash. Daniel has also notched offers from Toledo, Akron, Fordham, Maine, RMU, and Stony Brook.

Brooks is another 2027 prospect who has been showcasing his skills at prospect camps this month. He has competed at Kentucky and Ohio State and had his best performance at WVU's camp, where he received an offer today. Having watched Brooks' speed and agility up close, I'm not surprised the Mountaineers pulled the trigger. He has shown a high ceiling of potential running the football as a freshman on varsity. The 5'11, 190 lbs prospect also has scholarship offers from Akron and Miami (OH).

Taylor's latest scholarship offer came from Rutgers after he recorded a 4.4 laser time at their prospect camp. Syracuse also extended an opportunity to the versatile prospect on May 30th. Khalil has proven to be a standout as an outside WR, a ball-hawking safety, and an explosive returner on special teams. He's a strider who quickly eats up DB cushions in free release situations. His ball-tracking skills on both sides of the ball highlight his big-time playmaking ability. Taylor also has offers from D1 programs such as Penn State, West Virginia, UNLV, Pitt, Nebraska, UConn, and RMU. The 2027 athlete continues to be a top-notch prospect in his class.
