remains one of my favorite offensive line prospects in all of the six states, regardless of class. Watts also stands as one of my better evaluaion hits, with myself being the first to stamp Watts before offers came his way.

remains on the national recruiting radar, ranking among the best prospects left uncommitted representing the entire Northeast region of the country. We can move past his impressive laundry list of offers and focus in on the programs Watts has taken official visits to. OVs to Clemson, Wisconsin, Duke, and Michigan, it’s likely we can narrow down Watts’s commitment to one of these programs. Inside information tells me the Dexter Southfield four-star linemen might be leaning toward Wisconsin, which makes more than enough sense considering the program’s ability to develop all-Big10 players. Either way, it’s been a pleasure covering the young man for the short time I had working with New England 2025s. I’d argue he’s the crown jewel of this class. Watts will announce his commitment on July 1st (top three Clemson, Michigan, Wisconsin).

Another one of my early evaluation hits from over a year ago. Recently saw Qeanu Johnson Qeanu Johnson 6'1" | 190 lbs | ATH Hamden Hall | 2025 State New E work out live, with over two dozen college coaches present, at Hamden Hall’s pro-day back in late May. Came away from that workout more than impressed. My colleagues ranking New England prospects clearly were as well, with Qeanu reaching a peak in ranking, a top 10 placement.
Can argue recruitment has been relatively quiet as of late, with offers coming from Akron and Air Force over the past three months. That being said, Johnson locked into an Official Visit with Duke not too long ago, unsure if that visit was taken, however. Duke likely a great fit, yet opportunities with Minnesota, Oregon State, as well as Temple are likely still available. It’s worth noting Johnson’s official visit to Syracuse, which was supposed to take place two weeks into June. We will have our eyes peeled on where Johnson decides to call home.
Here’s a prospect with FBS potential, who might end up committing to an FCS school in time. I agree with the current rankings, calling Chelmsford’s

a top-five offensive line prospect stationed in New England, he’s my pick to be the “steal” of this class, especially if he ends up at the FCS level. Brown has highlighted visits to Akron (offered in April), Buffalo (offered in March), Fordham (offered in February), as well as the likes of New Hampshire and Holy Cross. Recruiting is all about connections, personal relationships are often developed at these post-offer visits, so it’s likely Brown calls one of the above-mentioned programs home. Brown’s talent should have him as a take at Akron and Buffalo, so long as space is still available. I’ll be paying close attention to all things

Love seeing the work Alex Jackson Alex Jackson 6'5" | 280 lbs | OL Peabody Veterans Memorial | 2025 State New E has put in on the field this offseason. Shotput, Discus, Javelin, Hammer Throw, you name it, Jackson has been excelling at each event all while navigating the recruiting process before his senior year begins. The first six months of 2024 saw seven offers come the way of the Peabody offensive lineman. Syracuse paid close attention early on, offering Jackson while keeping up with his Track & Field numbers. Akron, James Madison, UConn, Fordham, and Old Dominion have all followed in the footsteps of UMass, who was first to offer Jackson a scholarship back in January.
It’s likely Jackson has dwindled down his favorite among this list, it’s also not out of the question that Jackson sees opportunities arise as other dominoes in New England begin to fall. Surprised more FCS programs aren’t attempting to keep Jackson close to home, kid has 15+ offer potential. Excited to see where he calls home.
A 2,000+ yard passer stationed out of St. Sebastian’s School, the highly-praised

stands as one of the better quarterbacks left out on the 2025 market. Ranked third in his class, Ciongoli has impressed many throughout the offseason, doubling down by presenting coaches with equally impressive tape.
Where does Ciongoli stand amongst New England peers in terms of recruiting? Early into 2024, Ciongoli heard back from Maryland and Cornell, receivng a scholarship offer to throw the football at either program. Unsure if either were commitable opportunities, nonetheless things looked to be turning up for Ciongoli. Many Junior Day visits were paid, marquee camp invites were also sent out to the SSS passer (UA Next, Elite11 Regional, M2 QB Showdown). Not many scholarship opportunities have been announced since March of this year. Here’s to hoping someone takes a chance on the lefty passer who has much to provide a next-level program.

The fourth offensive lineman on this list, goes to show how fertile the New England area is when searching for collegiate tackle/guard prospects.
Seajae Gaskill Seajae Gaskill 6'3" | 260 lbs | OL Everett | 2025 State New E ‘s entry will be a short one, not much can be determined based on socials, as Gaskill is relatively quiet on Twitter. Gaskill’s sophomore tape warranted a Purdue offer over a year ago but nothing since. It’s likley Gaskill will fall on New England’s ranks despite solid tape out of the Everett All-State Tackle. Measureables are questionable. 6’0-6’2 might reserve him to inside roles. Talented player, unsure of what’s to come moving forward.
Huge fan of this young man’s game. A 6’3, 175-pound DB with two-way potential. Ranked as a top ten ATH among his 2025 peers, Ezra Fearon Ezra Fearon 6'3" | 175 lbs | ATH Choate Rosemary Hall | 2025 State New E has a long list of FCS schools who are all positioning to acquire his skillset. December 2023 to May 2024, Fearon has garnered some type of offer from prominent FBS/FCS programs. Lehigh, Fordham, New Hampshire, Howard, Monmouth, the list doesn’t stop here. Ivy League programs such as Princeton, Columbia, Dartmouth, Harvard, and Cornell have also expressed interest in the phenomenal student athlete.
What’s worth mentioning is Akron’s late push to secure Fearon’s talents. Navy and Army WP have also inquired via offer. A bit surprised the UConns and UMass’s of the world haven’t attempted to bring Fearon in. The Top 30 prospect has a plethora of opportunites to choose from, here’s to hoping he makes the choice that’s best for he and his family.
Ranked as the third best linebacker in all of New England (2025). St. Thomas More as well as Naquan himself know how fond I am of his talents, it’s been a pleasure seeing Johnson grow into a serious football prospect. I had the chance to see Johnson wow collegiate suitors back in May during STM’s pro-day event. I couldn’t help but be a bit proud.
Where do we currently stand in terms of recruiting? Long Island University recently reached out to Johnson in the form of a scholarship offer. The later an offer a received, the more likely it is that such offer is committable. An absolute steal to any FCS program that lands this young man, I’d argue he’d be the prized possesion of any FCS 2025 class. Bowling Green and Army WP could still have Johnson as a take, offering the linebacker within the past 12 months. I do have to scratch my head a bit at the potential lack of opportunities presented in recent months. Johnson will have to do with what’s given. Very excited to see where he inevitably ends up.
