It was a big turnout for the last of Bowling Green's summer football camps. Somewhere around 220 high school and post grad football players showed up to show off too and be coached by the Falcons coaching staff. While the rain showed up for the testing portion of the camp, but it gave way to beautiful clear skies and sunshine for the drill work and 1v1 portion of the event. Rather than detailing only Ohio players for this event I wanted to also highlight a couple of out of state players who also caught my eye.

2026 DL [player_tooltip player_id='1188228' first='Eckley' last='Bridges']
6'1 230
Ohio (Hamilton)
The defensive tackle from Hamilton had a strong day at the Bowling Green football camp. Eckley (pictured above) showed a good first step and played with sound pad level. In his bag of tools are a strong rip move and a quick crossover that he used to beat opposing blockers in 1v1's and get to the QB. When he doesn't win with his quickness and athleticism, he has the strength to play through blocks. In the testing Bridges put up very solid numbers with a 5.18 and a broad jump of 8'2. In a Big Blue defense that has a really strong backend in coverage, with Bridges ability to dominate and disrupt on the interior of the offensive line this season is set up for him to breakout.

2025 WR [player_tooltip player_id='1279501' first='Jeremiah' last='Moore']
6'1 165
Ohio (Groveport Madison)
It's fun when to watch the faces of coaches timing a player you know is going to put up a really strong 40 time. That kind of shock and awe, what I was expecting and got as I watched Jeremiah put up a 4.41 and then a 4.37 in the 40-yard dash. He followed that up with a good shuttle and broad jump of 4.37 and a 9'4 respectively. Moore has smooth hips and uses his length well to lock up receivers and play the ball. Moore saw his recruitment take off this spring with offers from Miami (OH), Toledo, and Ohio. With a strong beginning to his senior season, I'd expect that list to continue to grow and I'd be surprised if he didn't begin to get some power 4 interest if not offers.

[player_tooltip player_id='1310551' first='Josh' last='Moore']

2025 WR [player_tooltip player_id='1310551' first='Josh' last='Moore']
6'1 170
Ohio (Groveport Madison)
Like his aforementioned twin brother, Josh also put-up great testing numbers with a 4.45 forty, a 4.57 shuttle, and an 8'11 broad jump. In his routes, Moore is a glider. Showing of that 4.4 speed, Josh gets vertical with ease. The respect that Moore deserves from the vertical routes opens up the underneath routes for him. He shows the ability to use tempo and explosive breaks to get separation in short space windows. Though he labels himself as a wide receiver, Josh does have the versatility to turn around and play cornerback at a high level. Josh also boasts offers from Miami (OH) and Ohio University. His elite speed and athletic skillset are also set up for him to continue to grow his offer list and possible Power 4 interest.

2025 EDGE [player_tooltip player_id='1007556' first='Christian' last='Smith']
6'3 225
Georgia (Harrison)
I thought Smith had one of the best days of the defensive linemen. Listed as a linebacker on the Camp roster, I project Smith as an edge at the next level. Smith showed a really good size-speed combo posting a 4.84 in the 40-yard dash at 230 pounds. He also posted an elite shuttle time for a player of his size of 4.39. In 1v1's Smith showed he a strong skillset of moves he used to beat opposing offensive tackles. The explosiveness and loose hips he showed off in the shuttle showed up in 1v1's big time. His ability to drop his hips, play with balance, and be explosive while cornering was really impressive. Chistian was also able to use tempo and a nice hesitation move to crossover and win the inside. When he was able to win the speed rush, he showed the athleticism to bend and dip below the waste of the blocker while maintaining balance and functional strength. In a state that consistently puts out a ton of D1 talent, Smith is right there. He's already picked up an FCS offer from Bryant University, and I'd be really surprised if he didn't continue to add to that list as he's definitely a D1 talent.

Deinma Tomlin

2025 WR Deinma Tomlin
6'2 170
Ontario, Canada (Woodland Christian)
From the country up north, Deinma, was a really nice surprise. At 6'2 and 170, Tomlin, possesses a long frame capable of adding more good weight and strength. He was another player who had a great day testing putting up one of the best 40's of the day with a 4.52 and 9'8 in the broad jump. The explosiveness of his broad jump translated into strong releases off the line of scrimmage in 1v1's and the speed in his ability to run by defenders. In talking to Tomlin after the camp I found out he's started to get some interest from Eastern Michigan. As an international player he's still working hard to start to develop more relationship and more opportunities for himself at the next level. Be it at the FCS or FBS level, I definitely believe Deinma is definitely a D1 talent.

[player_tooltip player_id='1310544' first='Jamarion' last='Rushing']

2025 OL [player_tooltip player_id='1310544' first='Jamarion' last='Rushing']
6'5 315
Ohio (Toledo Central Catholic)
At 6'5 315 the first thing you notice with Rushing is his impressive size. In his pass set he show's great feet and balance. In 1v1's Jamarion lined up exclusively at Right Tackle. He was quick enough to the edge to take away the speed rush, but technically sound enough not to overset and give up the inside. The frame and the athleticism are there for Rushing. What I'm looking for from him now is him to play with a little bit of an edge. He has all the talent win against very good edge rushers. What Jamarion needs to take his game to the next level, is to play with a little bit of an edge. If he can show a hunger to dominate and the ability to finish violently, he will see his game and thus recruitment go to another level.
