BROOKINGS-- We close out our Sunday night with more National standouts from the South Dakota State prospect camp last week. The running back and linebacker groups were a couple of my favorite groups in the first session, but you will see a handful of WRs from Illinois and a hidden gem from small town Nebraska on our standout list as well. Let's meet the 11 standouts I tracked in Part III in Jackrabbits Country.

Jordan Tate, RB, Davenport West, IA 2025 Twitter

I was a big fan of this running back group at SDSU, as I am sure you can tell, as Davenport West 2025 Jordan Tate is one that caught my eyes in Brookings. Jordan showed off a prospect that from the eyes, flourished with with his technique during testing and later into Indy drills and the testing numbers lived up to that hype I saw. As a well built 5'10 188 pounder, Jordan went consistently in the low 4.7s in the 40 yard dash and the low 4.4s in his pro agility and an explosive 9'5 broad jump. Great elusiveness on tape thru high traffic areas and the burst presents itself heavily out of those areas. Jordan is one that is well under the radar with just one WIAC offer thus far and is deserving of more opportunities.

[player_tooltip player_id='1190036' first='Mitchell' last='Olson'], RB, Mounds View, MN 2025 Twitter

Mitchell had quite the showing at the Minnesconsin MEGA Camp as I thought he brought similar juice to Brookings last week too. Mitchell is another one that impressed me with his approach he showed off in Indy Drills as he showed off tight handling of the ball and I felt nailed the bulk of the key points he got from the SDSU coaching staff very quickly. The agility that Mitchell showed off at SDSU was incredibly instinctive to watch up close and with his size, I loved how much fluidity Mitchell had with all of his movement I got to watch. Went low 4.2s in his pro agility and mid 4.6s in the 40-yard dash at 5'9 187 pounds. You can bet more from the NSIC will get involved after getting a stack of offers after River Falls and is one that I expect a massive senior year from with the Mustangs.

[player_tooltip player_id='319549' first='McCorter' last='Goeser'], LB, Elkhorn South, NE 2025 Twitter

It seemed that I caught the blow up on his recruiting trail right on time with everyone else as [player_tooltip player_id='319549' first='McCorter' last='Goeser'] was a must watch by the bulk of the college coaches at the SDSU prospect camp as since then he has looked nine offers (8 D2 and 1 FCS). From a footwork perspective, McCorter was one of the most sound linebackers at SDSU and even early on you can just see the rangy motor this kid has all over the football field. McCorter moved with such instinctive vision in the drills I watched, I can't say I am surprised he became a hot commodity as he caught my notebook muliple times at SDSU, which is a tough feat when you are evaluating 350+ kids. The tape also shows off a LB that has more versatility than most at linebacker with pass coverage which i believe is only going to improve further in my eyes with all the upside McCorter has and is a punch in the mouth linebacker when it comes to physicality. McCorter would get my selection for LB MVP at SDSU for sure.

[player_tooltip player_id='234774' first='Carter' last='Carstens'], LB, Chanhassen, MN 2025 Twitter

Carter is one that I have been scouting since his freshmen year, and man, do I love the growth he has made as another linebacker that stood out at SDSU coming out of 5A powerhouse Chanhassen. The length of Carter's lower body has certainly impressed me with how fluid he has become as his long strides have certainly developed with well-versed vision that I saw in Brookings. Carter was one that I thought enriched his attention to detail from coaching at SDSU, as I felt he took the concepts given and put them into fruituation quickly which also is a credit to his football IQ. Also, when I watched him in testing Carter was one that has blossomed great technique from over the years at PRZ Combines, and other college camps and showed off great form too. Based on that live eval and the tape, Carter is more under the radar than he should be in my eyes.

Jensen Pixler, LB, Sioux Falls Christian, SD 2026 Twitter

Jensen is a 2026 linebacker prospect I caught bigger waves of at our Prep Redzone Dakotas Combine this Spring and one that continued his growing upside at the SDSU prospect camp. He is one that has certainly developed his Spring testing numbers and improved them into Summer camps, as I recall improvement at SDSU with his 40-yard dash and his pro agility (4.91-40, 4.62-pro agility). I thought Jensen also looked more physically imposing since Spring, as I had him as one of my prospects that passed the eye test of what looks like a next-level football target. Jensen was also more instinctive in Indy Drills and he drew more depth getting downhill which translates well to his 2023 tape. The junior to be from Sioux Falls Christian, I have a gut feeling is going to have a big junior season.

Cooper Lehman, WR, Mount Carmel, IL 2025 Twitter

Cooper is a wide receiver prospect out of Illinois that impressed me a bunch with how explosive he was in Brookings last week. I was intrigued with the get off of Cooper's first step when I watched him in 1v1s as his release showed off great instincts. I was also highly impressed with his great hands, and that turns well for him on tape too making the higher traffic catches look routine. A technically sound route-runner that ran a 4.22 pro agility at SDSU, it is no wonder why FCS programs are starting to get on board with this young man and I wouldn't be surprised to see more Missouri Valley schools get in the mix late.

Charlie Snoreck, WR, Carl Sandburg, IL 2025 Twitter

Charlie showed off great length in his nearly 6'1 192 pound frame stretching out to 6'4 which you could certainly see come thru in the later reps of camp with his catch radius. He also showed so much twitch in his first step I got to watch with his route running as althought his twitch was shown off in testing, I think a few college coaches saw what they wanted to see in 1v1s as his ability to instinctively move off his defender and get smooth seperation presses so well for Charlie on tape as well. For those in the NSIC that recruit Illinois, I would certianly be looking at this young man with a deeper lenses.

Marion Moore, DB, Madison Memorial, WI 2025 Twitter

One of the biggest spotlights of the SDSU prospect camp was on Madison Memorial 2025 cornerback Marion Moore, and that was heard and seen from end to end of camp last Thursday in Brookings. The new NDSU commit, showed off what I have seen since last winter's Prep Redzone Wisconsin Combine where he took home our DB MVP with his excellent ball-tracking ability, constant precision, and at SDSU, I felt Marion has gotten smoother since winter with his agility as he tested extremely well in the pro agility. This kid's vision is just top-notch as we have known, but I also love this kid's character too, as the Bison landed another great DB target from my home state of Wisconsin.

https://twitter.com/marion_moore16/status/1806372465112723921

[player_tooltip player_id='414872' first='Kyle' last='Cox'], DB, Sandhills-Thedford, NE 2025 Twitter

Another one of my favorite defensive backs from SDSU shows off what a true small town hidden gem looks like which is 2025 defensive back [player_tooltip player_id='414872' first='Kyle' last='Cox'] of Sandhills-Thedford. A 2023 State champion, Kyle certainly impressed me with his footwork at SDSU and when you watch the tape from last season, man this kid is certainly a nightmare to tackle and certainly has position flexibility at the next-level in my eyes. The wingspan also intrigues me with Kyle, as at 5'9, he stretches out to 6'1 and put up some intriguing testing numbers such as a 9'3 in the broad and high 4.3s in his pro agility. You could also feel the length was there when watching Kyle in 1v1s as his reach certainly was in the bread box of some of the receivers went up against. This would be a prospect I would go outside the measurables for without an offer yet.

More Standouts from SDSU:

[player_tooltip player_id='433165' first='Ty' last='Bouaphakeo'], QB, Bennington, NE 2027 Twitter

Blake Rodriguez, LB, Cherokee Trail, CO 2025 Twitter
