Some would say in the middle of nowhere, but Bettendorf Iowa, has a state of the art facility named TBK Bank Sports Complex that hosted the Offense Defense summer camp for the first time. I was able to see the Top Performers up close and personal for a few days and below I go a little deeper into why these young men turned heads for their honors.

Connor was the alpha Quarterback from day one and kept leading the camp in drills and being vocal when needed. Throws an accurate ball with good touch and velocity. The weight room will be his friend as he matures into being the main signal caller in a couple of years at the next level. Smart kid, and has good enough footwork to stay on his feet and extend plays.

Vaughn is an athletic player with a lot of attributes that will service him well in multiple roles. He did some running back drills, but I think he will develop faster on the outside in a slot or wide out roll. Has good hands, and found space in his one on one route competitions. Was eager to learn and focused on the little things. Covered well at free safety and displayed some solid straight line speed.

Big kid with a bright future. Late bloomer with some catching up to do in overall IQ, however, picked this up quickly when moved around at every position on the offensive line. Solid base with great hand placement. Needs to hit weight room and that punch will hit differently in a seasons time. Showed some good get off at defensive tackle and some “want to.” Has a lot of room to grow into a special player.

Rawson Sullivan (2028 ATH, Minnesota)- Rawson was very shifty and used his low center of gravity to his advantage. Deceivingly strong and explosive. Competed hard and finished plays falling forward during contact. Took limited instruction and put it together quickly to get the most out of each rep. High energy and a threat more on the offensive side.

Logan Hicks (2028 RB, Wyoming)- Hicks is a physical back with good vision. Plays 100 mph from start to finish. Competed with the upper class men and didn't shake from the big boys. Carries a serious demeanor when in between the lines and was thirsty for knowledge, even maximizing his mental reps. A natural forward lean, with no signs of his feet stopping on contact. Route running ability was solid out the backfield as well.
