Mass Elite Clinic: Rising Stars To Know

MASS ELITE FOOTBALL is regarded as the go-to football clinic for middle school and rising freshmen student-athletes in Massachusetts.  The clinics have been providing high-quality football skills development for over 12 years. The player alumni have gone on and played at top private prep schools and at the next level in D1, D2, and D3 programs like UCLA, NORTHWESTERN, BOSTON COLLEGE, PENN STATE, HARVARD, YALE, VILLANOVA, WESLEYAN, TRINITY, BENTLEY, and many other top quality institutions. The clinic is staffed by some of the best high school coaches in New England. In this report, I will highlight several middle school and rising freshmen stars that caught my eye during the clinic held on June 23, 2024, at Xaverian Bros High School in Massachusetts.   <figure class="wp-block-image aligncenter size-large is-resized"><img src="https://prepredzone.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/3/2024/06/Screenshot-2024-06-24-at-4.20.22 PM.png?w=875" alt="" class="wp-image-1311330" style="width:251px;height:auto" /></figure>   <hr class="wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity" />    Steven Ciampoli will be entering the 8th grade in the fall of 2024. At an early age, he carries a large 6'2" - 210 lbs frame and appears to have additional growth ahead. He caught my eye during the run-fit period at the camp when he was taking reps on the defensive side of the ball. He has obvious athletic coordination and moves fluidly. He gets both cleats in the ground at pre-snap with a good knee bend. He was a unanimous selection as the Clinic MVP by all coaches in attendance. He is athletically coordinated and displayed very good eye & hand coordination during the camp. He has a very good catch radious and was observed plucking the ball out of the air consistently with his hands and away from the body. He is advanced in the route tree and executes his routes with obvious quickness. He was selected as one of the two Top Receiver awards for his performance during the camp. He is a gifted athlete who flashed a high skill level during the clinic. His ball skills are impressive, and he makes things look very easy when he competes. He is advanced in his skill set when compared to his peers. He makes catches with his hands away from the body and is a fluid athlete to know. He currently stands 5'9 and appears to have some additional growth potential in his frame. He has a twin brother, named Rhett, who is also an impressive athlete. Cole was a Co-winner for the Top Performer WR selection by the clinic staff. He is a gifted athlete who flashed a high skill level during the clinic. His ball skills are impressive, and he makes things look very easy when he competes. He is advanced in his skill set when compared to his peers. He has good lean when carrying the ball and can quickly jab step to find the open running lane. He makes catches with his hands away from the body and is a fluid athlete to know. He currently stands 5'9 and appears to have some additional growth potential in his frame. He has a twin brother, named Rhett, who is also an impressive athlete. Cole was a Co-winner for the Top Performer RB selection by the clinic staff. He displays good balance, stays off the ground, and plays with solid pad level by demonstrating decent knee bend. He makes very good use of his hand placement when taking on D-linemen. He has an advanced skill set, with obvious aggression being the main component of his skills. He stands 6 feet, 305 lbs. He gets both cleats in the ground at pre-snap with a good knee bend. Brody was a winner of the Top Performer OL selection by the clinic staff. He is the young brother of [player_tooltip player_id='408630' first='William' last='Wood'], an early-ranked prospect who we have graded high in the class of 2027. He currently stands 5'8" 155 lbs and has a promising growth potential at first glance. His mechanics are already advanced likely due to his specialized training with the top Qb trainers from the New England region M2 QAb academy. He displays a proficient ability to throw to receivers open with decent accuracy. Ben was a winner of the Top Performer QB selection by the clinic staff. I see him as an early projected rising star in the class of 2029.     [player_tooltip player_id='1259363' first='Hudson' last='Gill'] will attend the 9th grade in fall 2024. He stands 5'9'(maybe taller) 220lbs, and has obvious growth potential. He was observed taking on many offensive linemen twice his size and creating havoc for many of them. In his last competition, he made an impressive quick spin move that left the offensive Linemen standing alone while he attacked the backfield. He executed each rep with good effort and a motor. Hudson was a winner of the Top Performer DL selection by the clinic staff. He is a fluid athlete who has a smooth backpedal and can flip his hips in either direction quickly. He currently stands at 5'9 135lbs with a frame that displays more growth potential. He flashed a solid change of direction skill. Solid leaping ability. He flashes the ability to get the ball in traffic. He has a very good skill set for a young defensive back with a desire to cover anyone who lines up in front of him. Brady was a winner of the Top Performer DB selection by the clinic staff.
