Georgia Class of 2030 Prospects That Shined At FSG Practice

They may have been the youngest kids at the Future Stars Game, but don't tell the class of 2030 athletes (6th grade) that. There was a ton of talent on this roster from top to bottom--with a bunch of names that the football and recruiting world will know about before too long. Take a look at which prospects stood out on the practice field leading up to the games.    As a class of 2030 prospect, there are literally hundreds (if not thousands) of days until recruiting becomes a real situation to deal with--that said, Dashaun Morris II might be a kid that bucks that trend. He's one of a handful of returners that played in this game last year (he was in fifth grade playing up) and he's worthy of it. He's playing Safety down here and made a ton of plays during 1-on-1s and was straps during the live session. There's a reason he's the first 2030 kid I made a profile for.     At first look during individual drills, I thought he was a Defensive Tackle because of his thicker build, but when I saw him move during 1-on-1s and during a live period, I could see why he lined up there. He's big and strong enough to play inside but moves well enough to play Defensive End. I specifically liked his ability to get separation and rip his way past the offensive line.     Opposite [player_tooltip player_id='1303136' first='Maurice' last='Martin'] on the defensive line, Conwell also flashed as a Defensive End. White Martin was a thicker, stronger D-End, Conwell was clearly a speed rusher. He's probably in the 6-foot range and on the leaner side, which allows him to use his speed to defeat slow-footed Offensive Tackles. He's a bit raw in terms of pass rush moves, stance and other basics. Then you remember he's only wrapping up his sixth-grader year and it resets your mind to what the future could be for him.     Brought some physicality to the Cornerback position all practice session long. Honestly, had him pegged as a Safety until they broke into the live period, where he lined up at Cornerback on the opposite of [player_tooltip player_id='1303632' first='Allen' last='June']. No shortage of hand fighting with the WR's as they were trying to get into their routes and did not shy away from going after the ball.     I didn't get much of an opportunity to look into the sixth-grade teams of the states down here, prior to the Future Stars Game, but I quickly saw that they had two very talented QBs. Mauldin made a number of really beautiful throws throughout the practices. Made the right reads, got rid of it quickly. Didn't see him throw any passes that weren't a tight spiral. On the shorter side right now, but when he starts to grow, there's a ton of potential for him to become a special player.     The other Quarterback on this roster is big [player_tooltip player_id='1303149' first='Caden' last='Dollar'] out of Houston County. He's new to the Quarterback position and you can see that from time to time. However, he's an athletic specimen for a class of 2030 prospect. With an older brother that plays Tight End at the University of Washington, the size is clearly in the genes for the younger Dollar, who is already nearing 6-foot. Just an impressive-looking athlete overall, that coaches said will also take heads off on the defensive side of the ball. Once he starts to develop the QB fundamentals, he looks like a prospect that could become a highly recruitable kid down the line.     On an Offensive Line that is a bit light on depth, Robinson was a standout during practice. One of the bigger O-Linemen on the team, he looked good in 1-on-1s. When he was able to sit in his pass protection, get his hands inside and his arms locked, he won a lot more reps than he lost. They'll need him to seal the edges for outside runs to be successful.     Additional Georgia 6th Grade (Class of 2030) Future Stars That Stood Out   [player_tooltip player_id='1303632' first='Allen' last='June'] | Defensive Back - A big Cornerback with long arms and legs. Has ability to completely blanket Wide Receivers on the outside, by himself.   [player_tooltip player_id='1303947' first='Ronnie' last='Pope Jr.'] | Wide Receiver - Brought some muscle and toughness to the outside receiver position. I'm interested to see what he'll do with more targets.   [player_tooltip player_id='1303954' first='Cam' last='Ward'] | Wide Receiver - North Cobb prospect that did a lot of impressive things on the outside. Versatile Wide Receiver that can play a number of different positions.   [player_tooltip player_id='1303967' first='Josiah' last='Stone'] | Wide Receiver - Flashed at practice. Made some nice plays during 1-on-1s against a talented Georgia 6th grade secondary.
