Another young Grayson Ram defender to keep a close eye on over the next several years, Morris is a tough, instinctive safety who doesn’t shy away from contact. He’s still on the smaller side, as most freshmen are, but he’s already playing way bigger than his size. He wraps up properly, shows good instincts against the run, and shows the potential to be one of the state’s defensive backs down the road in the state. The rangy, sure-tackling safety is currently ranked by Prep Redzone as the No. 19 overall prospect in Georgia for the 2030 class.

As a class of 2030 prospect, there are literally hundreds (if not thousands) of days until recruiting becomes a real situation to deal with–that said, Dashaun Morris II might be a kid that bucks that trend. He’s one of a handful of returners that played in this game last year (he was in fifth grade playing up) and he’s worthy of it.
