[player_tooltip player_id='1177577' first='Tyvel' last='Calloway'] has really good vision behind the line of scrimmage, and with the smooth cuts he brings to the turn after passing the line, he's quite a handful for any defense to try and get down. Not being the biggest player, he still has a surprising strength that helps him to break through tackles. Still, it's his stiff arm and quick feet that do most of the damage once he reaches the second level. Calloway is a player who could really help Liberty as they try to defend their Open Division state title in 2024

At 6'4" and 275 lbs going into his junior season, [player_tooltip player_id='992794' first='Ammon' last='Alexander'] naturally has a good amount of length and power. His ability to put it all together on the field is quite impressive. Still possessing quick feet, he does a great job of using them to keep even the speedy defenders in front of him. In the pass set, once Alexander gets his hands on the defenders, he seems to have immediate control of the situation. In the run game, he's very aggressive and allows the power and quick feet to really take over as he drives defenders backward. Alexander is a player that coaches should be watching closely as we head into 2024.

Playing for Campo Verde, [player_tooltip player_id='992785' first='Carter' last='Haygood'] is an extremely physical receiver who's already shown he has no problem making catches through contact. His impressive footwork paired with his physicality makes him a real advantage for their offense around the goal line. Just as dangerous after the catch, Haygood is really fluid and can make defenders miss with ease. Even though he excels in the short game, he's still a threat to blow by corners on the outside and can completely change the momentum of a game on any given play.

Cooper Cronk plays wide receiver, but as soon as he gets the ball in his hands, he runs with it like a running back. A strong ball carrier with a decent wiggle makes him hard to bring to the ground. Cronk is another player who can truly dominate in the quick passing game. Moving around in the Lee Williams offense, Cronk lines up everywhere from outside the numbers to the slot and even the tight end spot as well. He finished last season averaging over 20 yards a reception as a sophomore, a testament to his ability to add yards after the catch. As a junior, Cronk is going to be a name to keep an eye on as he looks to get a few more targets this season.

Jayden Aidoo has some serious speed playing in Higley's high-powered offense. As he steps into a bigger role this year while the team attempts to defend their 5A state title, Aidoo is a player who's a threat to score every time he touches the ball. It's more than just the speed that gets him open though; he's great at adjusting to his quarterback when the play breaks down he needs someone to throw to. With some room to add some weight to his frame, Aidoo could be a big piece for that talented roster after an offseason of work.
