Film Review: 2026 Wide Receivers Outside the 200s To Check Out

<p class="text-gray-700">[player_tooltip player_id='1077191' first='Rodney' last='Brodie'] played as an outside receiver and as a cornerback last year for Catasauqua. As a receiver, he runs good routes. He has legit speed and on fade routes, he runs by defenders. He has beaten corners off the ball several times and caught long touchdowns. Brodie also did a nice job at cornerback. He played both as a slot corner and an outside corner. In both positions, he did a nice job of playing coverage. He also did a good job providing run support. Brodie is a talented athlete who can play as a receiver and as a defensive back.</p>      <p class="text-gray-700">[player_tooltip player_id='1155862' first='Jackson' last='Bauman'] is an outstanding wide receiver for Knoch. He does a great job of making the simple catches and then turning upfield and getting extra yards. The other part of his game that is outstanding is his ability to catch a one-on-one ball. Several times he was in tight coverage and he out-jumped defensive backs for big catches. He also showed good speed and ran by defenders after he caught the ball. He is a good athlete that is hard to tackle in space. When he catches the ball he does a nice job of making defenders miss in space and gaining yards after the catch. He also showed toughness and several times took tough shots over the middle of the field and got right up. West also showed that he can run a variety of routes from the slot receiver position. He has a good combination of speed and athleticism. I saw a few of the reps from last year and he showed that he can score anytime he touches the ball. He flashed some legitimate skill as a runner and as a receiver. I am excited to see how he plays next season. </p>     <p class="text-gray-700">[player_tooltip player_id='1155874' first='Jamir' last='Duncan'] has limited film from last year but showed good skills at wide receiver and defensive back. At wide receiver, he showed shiftiness after he caught the ball to get away from defenders. He can make defenders miss, especially in space. At defensive back, he showed good coverage skills. He showed that he can also come upfield and make tackles in the open field. Duncan put enough plays on film to show he should be an even better player next season. </p>     <p class="text-gray-700">[player_tooltip player_id='1155877' first='Kris' last='Burgos-Wise'] I had the pleasure of watching at the Prep Redzone Showcase. He displayed good quickness and an ability to get in and out of his breaks. He also caught the ball well at the Showcase. Solanco where he plays runs an option system, so he does not get a lot of passes thrown his way. He is used in the option pitch game and the option sweep game, where he displays quickness and the ability to make defenders miss in space. On the rare occasion they threw the ball he showed a good ability to catch the ball and run good routes. He shows a good ability to get in and out of breaks. He shows some ridiculous athleticism by making difficult catches against defenders. Jones also has some legit speed and can run by defenders. I am excited to see his progress this season. </p>      <p class="text-gray-700">In a talented wide receiver group at Susquehanna Township, Leaks should not be overlooked. He has all the skills at wide receiver. He has legit speed and can run by defenders. He is particularly good when he gets off the ball and runs a fade route. He just runs past defenders. He catches the ball well in traffic in between defenders then turns upfield to make a big play.
