is someone I have always enjoyed watching his films and seeing him play football. Burgos-Wise is a receiver who plays in an option offense in high school, so he does not always get chances to have the ball thrown his way. At the showcase, he showed a good ability to run routes. He is excellent at setting defenders up and then breaking free. He also showed good hands and made difficult catches against defenders. Burgos-Wise is an intriguing prospect who recently picked up a Gettysburg offer.

is a hidden gem in the 2026 class. He is a good wide receiver who is stuck in a run 1st offense for Solanco, but he has all the skills in the world to be a good wide receiver at the next level. He did a good job at the Prep Redzone Showcase. In a loaded wide receiver group, Burgos-Wise still held his own and did a good job. He runs excellent routes and catches the ball well in traffic. He is also good after the catch, and he runs through defenders contact.

I had the pleasure of watching at the Prep Redzone Showcase. He displayed good quickness and an ability to get in and out of his breaks. He also caught the ball well at the Showcase. Solanco where he plays runs an option system, so he does not get a lot of passes thrown his way. He is used in the option pitch game and the option sweep game, where he displays quickness and the ability to make defenders miss in space. On the rare occasion they threw the ball he showed a good ability to catch the ball and run good routes. Burgos-Wise is a talented prospect.

may not get the recognition he deserves playing in run dominant offense, but Saturday he showed that Head Coach Tony Cox may want to open up the passing game a little come fall. The young man has good size and blazing speed which he showed time and time again during the 1v1 and the individual drills.

Burgos-Wise was someone we were watching closely coming into this weekend’s tournament and both Michael Knight and myself came away impressed with the Solanco standout. The 6-foot-0, 160-pound Burgos-Wise is just as smooth of an athlete as he is on tape and was able to go toe-to-toe with some very strong talent. I’m personally not too far away from Solanco, so I’ll be sure to check out Burgos-Wise in person this fall.

This Solanco athlete plays both running back and strong safety. Listed at 6-foot-0 and 160-pounds on his HUDL page. Multiple camp invites for this summer. Has a sophomore highlight film on HUDL just over three minutes long. Looked solid on film but intrigued to see how he performs against the athletes he’ll face on Saturday.
