He also rushed for a 10-yard touchdown. Garcia deserves a game ball for his performance, as he is now in the record books for Solanco as the all-time leading rusher. Playing in Solanco’s run-heavy option offense, Garcia has been the leading rusher for the last several years. In fact, he is now up to 3,147 yards rushing in his career. The reason he has rushed for over 3,000 yards is his ability to make defenders miss. He has excellent contact balance as he can make defenders miss and keep driving his legs. He has a good blend of a physical runner and a runner with excellent quickness and burst. Garcia doesn’t do this well without his coaches and the offensive line, but no doubt about it, he is a special running back.
