Since Brent Key took over at Georgia Tech, I have been a massive fan of their evaluations. They took several guys I was high on last cycle, and they are doing it again this cycle. It looks like they are attempting to build a blockade around Atlanta, which is an excellent idea. So far, it's paying off for them.

[player_tooltip player_id='667554' first='Jamauri' last='Brice'] is a playmaker at all levels of the field with a multi-sport background. His 5'10 175 frame should project him as a slot WR, but he plays inside-out for Cartersville. Brice has elite ball tracking skills, finding the ball through the arms of defenders and accelerating/decelerating to get underneath the football. He has fine hands, often snagging the ball off his facemask or hanging on as he falls to the turf. He plays above the rim better than any under 6'0 WR I've evaluated in the 2025 class. He is gifted with explosive, fiery footwork, making him a natural-born route runner.

[player_tooltip player_id='1184353' first='Connor' last='Roush'], now up to 6'4 240, is a blend of raw power and instincts off the edge. His play strength is more than adequate, pushing blockers onto their heels and proving difficult to move. Once clear of blocks, he has good pursuit skills for his size and can close on the ball in a hurry. Might not possess the high-end speed or bend to consistently live at the QB, but he frequently gets a hand up to bat the ball down and can dent the pocket from several spots. Play strength and high effort translate to all levels, and Roush's game is built upon those attributes. He has picked up several Ivy League and D1 offers this spring."

[player_tooltip player_id='1312180' first='Fenix' last='Felton'] has played both ways for ELCA, but he projects as a DB for Georgia Tech. He is a built 6'2 195 and has good athletic traits, but his instincts are what set him apart from the rest. As a true safety, he plays centerfield better than most. His footwork and backpedal are clean, and his ability to mirror routes in front of him is elite. He takes brilliant angles to the football, frequently meeting the WR at the high point and attacking the catch point. He does the same when attacking underneath concepts as well. He might not be a thumper, but he is a good tackler who again goes after the football when crashing downhill. Felton has a higher floor than other S prospects in this class.

[player_tooltip player_id='1157815' first='Kevin' last='Peay'] Jr, who is now above 300 pounds, is one of the best OL prospects in South Carolina. He plays plenty of LT on tape, but his 6'4 frame with broad shoulders projects him at guard. Peay is a mass mover, effortlessly clearing out running lanes and driving defenders through the turf. He also plays with good hand placement, firing in the chest and working through each defender. He is more than just a mauler, he can quickly pull and get into his pass set. There's not much that Peay won't be able to handle at the next level. Not to mention, there is plenty of room to add more muscle to his lower body. After my first watch, the intrigue around Peay is understandable.

Between football and track state championships, Penson already has enough trophies to fill up shelves. He is projected by some as a DB, but it is best to list him as an ATH. After all, he is electric with the ball in his hand. He took several direct snaps at QB last season, playing on rookie mode while he uses his elite speed and COD to leave defenders in the dust. His intrigue at DB must be mentioned. While he might not check ideal length boxes, creating separation against him is easier said than done. WRs will have to win over the top, and even then, it'll be challenging with Penson on their hip. He is a good tackler, striking in the mid-section and immediately stalling playmakers. I could see Penson at CB, but wouldn't be shocked to see him play some nickel as well.

In my opinion, you need to sign a "go up and get it" guy in every class, and Georgia Tech has one in [player_tooltip player_id='1299072' first='Sam' last='Turner']. At 6'3 190 with a basketball background, Turner has the build needed to consistently climb the ladder and win over the top, which he does on tape. He has a large catch radius and maximizes it by plucking the ball away from his body and making mid-air adjustments to each pass. Off the snap, he is explosive and quickly finds another gear, allowing him to out-stride DBs and leave them reeling in a hurry. Even at 6'3 190, Turner is still a puppy in terms of his build. Give him a year or two in a college weight room, and he can easily carry 215 pounds of good weight.
