Jr, who is now above 300 pounds, is one of the best OL prospects in South Carolina. He plays plenty of LT on tape, but his 6’4 frame with broad shoulders projects him at guard. Peay is a mass mover, effortlessly clearing out running lanes and driving defenders through the turf. He also plays with good hand placement, firing in the chest and working through each defender. He is more than just a mauler, he can quickly pull and get into his pass set. There’s not much that Peay won’t be able to handle at the next level. Not to mention, there is plenty of room to add more muscle to his lower body. After my first watch, the intrigue around Peay is understandable.
