MADISON, SD-- Our second wave of camps last week took us to Madison, South Dakota on the campus of Dakota State University. The Trojans football program has some great things brewing, with brand new practice field (which camp was held on) and a brand new football stadium that will be ready for this fall. The Trojans are also getting an indoor bubble in the works in the coming years.

Onto the prospects, we had a good list of notes from prospects from the Dakota State prospect camp and I loved how their were plenty of new names that we can shed light on in this series and beyond. Let's meet the first five in no particular order!

Isse Ibrahim, DB/WR, Sioux Falls Roosevelt, SD 2025 Twitter

Isse was a prospect that caught my early eyes that popped out with his length and frame from the early reps I caught at the Dakota State prospect camp. He is one that was under the radar prior to camp, and I felt rose his stock from camp start to camp end with his growing ceiling. He showed off great length and good sized hands for 6'1 175 pounds. Isse showed off impressive athleticism and especially during Indy drills I saw his versatility pop out which should be a skillset to know about this 2025 prospect for both sides of the ball. A big senior season, could certainly get this young man on more college radars as his quick development from camp shows me that he is an add I need to make to our 2025 rankings.

[player_tooltip player_id='825396' first='Alec' last='Austin'], QB, Centerville, SD 2026 Twitter

Our recent QB MVP at our Prep Redzone Dakotas Combine, we got to see the impression again of what [player_tooltip player_id='825396' first='Alec' last='Austin'] has growing amongst the 2026 class of quarterbacks as one that is certainly on the rise. Even after a short time since our last live eval of Alec, I already was more impressed with his change of direction as although I didn't have our combine numbers in front of me, I know he appeared faster than just over a month ago which with his kid's work ethic, I am certainly not surprised his willingly to develop outside of the pocket. Its no surprise to me that Alec has become an early offer target as this kid checks all my boxes across the board for what I look for in evaluation of quarterbacks, especially with his character always strucking a chord.

[player_tooltip player_id='892813' first='Dalyn' last='Dschaak'], TE, Sturgis Brown, SD 2025 Twitter

We finally got the live eyes on our TE1 in the South Dakota 2025 class and left Dakota State with a great impression of what we wanted to see from [player_tooltip player_id='892813' first='Dalyn' last='Dschaak']. At 6'2 200 pounds, Dalyn impressed me with his pro-agility for his size as the consistent change of direction was alive and well all day in all the reps I watched from this young man. I was very intrigued with how instinctive too Dalyn was with his athletic movement all and all, as there are not many Dakotas TEs that move that well at that size. He also showed off a ton of fluidity across all the drills I witnessed especially with his route-running. He showed off great hands as well and his quick process of getting upfield was what I needed to see as he looks the part of more of a hybrid between a TE and a WR with all the great skillsets he has at his disposal. I also certainly believe that this young man's Grade-A character will pay off dividends in his future college locker room.

[player_tooltip player_id='929801' first='Asher' last='Peil'], OL, Spearfish, SD 2026 Twitter

Another prospect that had a solid showing at our Prep Redzone Dakotas Combine was Spearfish 2026 offensive linemen [player_tooltip player_id='929801' first='Asher' last='Peil']. I certainly got to watch more reps out of Asher at Dakota State and am sure glad I got a deeper evaluation as this kid's work ethic you see on every rep is fun as heck to watch as an OL that will block until that whistle blows. Asher showed off one of the more polished offensive linemen in the group and especially was the top of the 2026 class of offensive linemen. He impressed me with his consistency with his pad-level and I thought has developed his footwork nicely even since our Prep Redzone Dakotas Combine with a quicker foot speed. Another one from this list that popped out with his character and will be a great locker room presence in the future. Certainly is a OL prospect in 2026 that I could see the stock rise by next update.

[player_tooltip player_id='533137' first='Sam' last='Glesiah'], RB, Sioux Falls Jefferson, SD 2025 Twitter

Sam was my first prospects that popped out onto my notepad in Madison, especially with his quick instincts, that from my eyes were seen very quickly upon the start of camp. Sam showed off consistency from what I saw on his junior tape, will developed vision that appeared with more patience in offensive Indy drills since the season ended. In my eyes, Sam doesn't get as much credit for his durability as he should, as when I looked at his frame and tape his durability should certainly appeal to more NAIA and other Division III programs in the Midwest as Sam certainly shows off next-level ceiling in my eyes.
