Owasso defensive back
Carter Langenderfer

Owasso | 2026

is the top-rated newcomer to the latest batch of 2026 rankings. Langenderfer is a defensive back prospect that we are very high on moving forward after getting a chance to watch him in person quite a bit this offseason. The Owasso product has a nose for the ball and good instincts in the secondary. The Owasso coaches also believe that he has what it takes to take that next step and be an impact player for the Rams this fall. Langenderfer has all the tools to becoming one of the top defensive backs in this class. Now, he gets an opportunity to prove that on the field.

made the move this offseason from Booker T Washington to Owasso. Bethel also debuts in the 2026 rankings relatively high because he has had an outstanding offseason on the 7v7 circuit. Now, performing well in 7v7 doesn’t mean much in terms of being a college prospect. But Bethel has a lot of the tools to become a breakout prospect in the state’s 2026 class. First off, the leaping ability and natural playmaking that Bethel showed countless times this offseason will definitely translate. And the Rams need new names to step up at wide receiver. We won’t be surprised if Bethel is one of them.

Broken Arrow has a very experienced but more importantly, a talented offensive line coming back this season. The Tigers have a few new names along the line in this latest update. Jerod Breshears Jerod Breshears 6'5" | OL Broken Arrow | 2026 State OK is a name that we’re very intrigued to watch moving forward. Breshears started for the Tigers last season at left tackle and had a really strong sophomore season. He immediately passes the eye test at 6’5 and nearing 300 pounds. He has a very strong base and uses that to his advantage in run blocking or pass blocking. Breshears is a new name to the 2026 rankings but he’s one that we’re high on moving forward into this fall.

Staying on the offensive line with Yukon standout Cayden Carter Cayden Carter 6'4" | OL Yukon | 2026 State OK and he’s a player that we have circled to watch this fall. Carter started every game for the Millers last season and we know that Yukon’s coaches are very excited about his potential moving forward. Carter is going to be one of Yukon’s top players on the offensive side of the ball and the coaches believe that Carter is a player that can compete at the next level and at a high level. Last season, Carter played on both sides of the offensive line, earning playing time at right tackle and left tackle. He looks like an athletic big man that can do a lot of things very well.

At this time last month, we didn’t know the name
Jordyn Crites

out of Edmond Memorial. Then we saw him in person at the Bixby team camp and he was one of the top defensive linemen that we watched. Coming off the edge, Crites was an absolute nightmare for opposing offensive linemen. Crites is incredibly long at 6’5 and used that size and wingspan to his advantage. So here’s the thing with Crites moving forward, our sample size for him is very small. But he made a tremendous impression during that team camp and he looks like he’s primed for a big season this fall. That breakout moment could be just around the corner.
