Going to be highlighting some names on the watchlist of the 2025 rankings in the upcoming weeks. Guys can be on the watchlist for several reasons but the most prominent one is that I find out about them after rankings are posted. I will be doing an update before these guys' senior season where some of them will be featured. There are also prospects on this list who may not have a ton of varsity experience but will see big-time increases in their role and the opportunity to get some quality film early in the season. These guys fit several different circumstances but regardless they are prospects who can make some noise this upcoming season.

[player_tooltip player_id='1302268' first='Curtis' last='Ealy III'] - The Freeport DE/TE is a player I just learned about and there is some quality potential here. Ealy played OL for Freeport but he has natural strength to his game with a powerful punch. While not big enough to play OL at the next level his burst and quickness as a defensive end make for an intriguing player to know about headed into his senior season.

[player_tooltip player_id='1273586' first='Tyler' last='Benjamin'] - Benjamin who is making the move from Rochester Prep to East this year will have big shoes to fill as East loses Zymier Jackson who is off to Clarion after back-to-back seasons of strong QB play. Benjamin may not be a QB at the next level because his size and athleticism could garner looks at LB or DE defensively and offensively can move like a RB or H-Back-like weapon. Rochester Prep was not very competitive last year but now Benjamin is surrounded by some quality talent on offense in which he can produce some quality QB tape.

[player_tooltip player_id='747248' first='Joe' last='Littlejohn'] - Littlejohn who has moved from St. Francis to Bennett is next in line to be one of Bennett's top playmakers at the WR position. Bennett loses a couple of WRs from last season and Littlejohn who is a solid performer for UAS Blaze 7v7 has the chance to see an increased role this upcoming season. Littlejohn had a role in the defensive backfield for Bennett last year having some Tackles and an INT to his name.

[player_tooltip player_id='891891' first='Daniel' last='Grein'] - Grein who comes to New York from Illinois will be doing a PG year at Milford Academy. I got wind of his move after the 2025 rankings were posted so he is on the watchlist for now but he will be a name who will be ranked in our updated right before the season. At 6'6 320lbs Grein has the size and length to play at the next level and has quality tackle tape from his senior season at IC Catholic.

[player_tooltip player_id='612739' first='Will' last='Hart'] - Hart who was a really impressive player on a 2022 Shoreham-Wading River squad is a player who missed all of last season due to injury. Hart who made the move to St. Anthony's is a playmaker who can make things happen out of the backfield or after the catch. With only some older tape and limited camp performances there is not a ton to evaluate off of right now but Hart easily is a player who could really make a strong impact as a Senior in the NYCHSFL. Especially on a St. Anthony's team that loses some WR production.

[player_tooltip player_id='820260' first='Jessie' last='Osbourne'] - Archbishop Stepinac loses a really quality duo of backs who both move on to play at the next level. Next in line to take over their high-powered offense at the position is [player_tooltip player_id='820260' first='Jessie' last='Osbourne']. Both Osbourne's brothers play RB at the next level and he has the frame to play at the next level. At 5'9 190 Osbourne is built and he was very successful on Stepinac's JV team two seasons ago. Quality weight room numbers, the genetics, and the quality coaching and opportunity for a lot of touches at Stepinac this season make him a name to watch.

[player_tooltip player_id='1213079' first='Angelo' last='Turo'] - Turo is a player I only really have discovered as of late and the Central Square RB has some quality measurables to his name. At 6' 215lbs with really good weight room numbers (500squat - 350bench - 550deadlift) Turo plays RB/LB and was extremely effective with 1,000+ rushing yards and 67 tackles on defense. Central Square also loses 140+ carries to graduation next year opening the door for Turo to have an even bigger role offensively.
