His substantial size alone will undoubtedly meet the criteria for coaches looking to add a offensive lineman to their recruiting class. Grein’s prowess as a player shines brightest in the run game, where his remarkable strength becomes evident once he engages with defenders. His powerful hands and extended arms pose a challenge for defensive linemen attempting to disengage. I’ll be observing Grein during the drill sessions to assess how well he translates his skills in a live setting. Grein is a massive lineman who transferred to ICCP this offseason. Grein stands at 6’7 and weighs 325 lbs. At Munster HS in Indiana, he primarily played defensive line and is extremely athletic for his size. It’ll be interesting to see where the Knights utilize Grein, as he has the body type of an offensive linemen but is certainly athletic enough to play defensive line. He lined up at nearly every spot on the DL, including nose guard, defensive tackle, and defensive end. He has a quick first step off the ball and was a sure handed tackler.
