Under The Radar Spring Spotlight

These players are all talented and have college level ability. Some of these players have a few offers and with the help of big seasons I can see all of them playing college football at some level.</em></strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong><em>Jacob Collins, LB- St. Petersburg High c/o 25</em></strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong><em>5'10 185lbs</em></strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><em>Collins had a solid Junior season registering 61 tackles, 2 TFL, 1 sack and a fumble recovery. He averaged over 8.7 tackles a game. Collins is a nice linebacker prospect who shows closing speed and he does have the ability to play out in space. Collins does have athleticism to cover slots and backs. Alexis is a high-motor player on every down. Svendsen is a very smart player (3.6 GPA) with very good instincts and flows fast to the football, shows the ability to drop in coverage and play passing lanes, reads run quickly and shows no hesitation attacking downhill. One of the more versatile players in the state, last season he passed for 1215 yards, completing 56% of his passes with 12 touchdowns. He also rushed for 515 yards and 10 touchdowns! He also chipped in on defense with 22 tackles, a sack, and 3 interceptions! Brower has the athleticism to play multiple positions at the next level, he shows nice speed to the edge, balance, and the ability to break tackles as a runner. He has very good acceleration and Is a homerun hitting threat anytime he touches the football! He's one of the more exciting players you'll watch in the Gainesville area.
