Flashes an excellent drive phase with the initial quickness and acceleration off the line to close space and eat up DB's cushion. Forces them to transition as he breaks off the top of his route to create separation. Speed gives him good deep threat ability but also does a good job finding the soft spot in coverage at the short and intermediate levels. Natural hands catcher that is strong at the catch point, he snatches the ball out of the air and hangs in there in traffic to secure it. Makes plays after the catch with his elusiveness and short area burst. Garcia is versatile athlete that is recruitable on both sides of the ball at WR and Safety. He's an aggressive competitor that is constantly attacking no matter where he lines up. At receiver, he's a plus route runner that can beat you with speed or technical ability. Does a good job setting up his routes and using a series of stems/nods to create separation. He's patient and mixes up his speeds well to be deceptive at the top of his route. Like his start/stop speed to accelerate out of his breaks. Quick off the line with good creativity in his releases to avoid contact. Possesses the long speed to stretch the field vertically and can track the ball into his hands. Transferred to Brawley Union for his junior season and has performed well at offseason camps/showcases. He's a savvy route runner that does a good job creating positional leverage and establishing a throwing lane for his QB. High-level judgement skills, body control, and coordination to adjust to the ball in the air and compete for it at the catch point. Attacks it at the high point and shows a good ability to extend to bring in tough receptions outside his framework. Can be a homerun threat catching the ball at all three levels. Flashes good vision and instincts as a ball carrier. Can run by defenders or use his lateral agility to make them miss in the short area. Finished the 2023 season with almost 900 yards receiving and nine touchdowns. Flashes plus accuracy and arm strength to all three levels. Like his ability to layer the ball over second level defenders and throw the deep ball with touch and trajectory. Good footwork and pocket mechanics, he's calm with his feet landing with a well-balanced throwing platform. Throws well on the run to either direction, gets his shoulders square and doesn't sacrifice velocity or accuracy when throwing outside the pocket. Quick and compact over the top release but also shows he can throw from different arm angles to deliver a catchable ball. Like his ability to throw his receivers open and place the ball where his target can make a play on it.
