At a camp put on by Coach Brian Hawkins, Lawson was able to show a full repertoire of pass rush moves inside and outside moves before he would've win off  athleticism now he has a plan and he has a bag of moves that he can call when he needs to. Lucas especially stood out during the one on one portion of camp showcased an array of routes which highlighted his crisp route running, and what really caught my attention was the suddenness in which he runs his routes with. showing the u003c/spanu003eability to snap off and put on  the break pedals and quickly change direction. I was especially fond of his jerk route which highlighted what he can do in the short areas in terms of creating separation. Moreover, his skill in dropping back and swiftly switching hips when facing pass rushers was commendable. Despite his tremendous ability, Charles lacks the recognition and notoriety he deserves.
