Johnson had 56 tackles, 9 for a loss with four interceptions and a blocked field goal as a sophomore last season.
He also holds offers from Michigan State and San Diego State among others.

Serra (Gardena) linebacker Neo Keohuloa announced he accepted a preferred walk on at Hawaii.
He led a very good Serra team in tackles last season with 104, 16 for a loss, eight sacks, an interception and a forced fumble.

St. Pius receiver Demari Nunley Demari Nunley 6’2″ | 165 lbs | WR St. Pius X – St. Matthias | 2026 State CA picked up offers from UNLV and San Diego State last week.
He is lengthy and can create separation with his route running.
Nunley also has an offer from Washington State.

Cathedral Catholic (San Diego) two-way lineman Victor Velasquez II Victor Velasquez II 6’3″ | 295 lbs | OL Cathedral Catholic | 2026 CA picked up his first Division 1 offer from Washington State.
He played left tackle at Mater Dei Catholic last season and has since transferred to Cathedral Catholic.
Velasquez has been active on the camp circuit and will be a big recruit this time next year.

Mater Dei edge rusher Nasir Wyatt Nasir Wyatt 6’2″ | 225 lbs | LB Mater Dei | 2025 State CA announced his commitment to Oregon last Friday.
Wyatt is one of the top overall players in the class and earned Prep Redzone All-Southern California Junior Team honors.
He had 41 tackles, 21 for a loss, 14 sacks, three forced fumbles and three fumble recoveries last season. His 14 sacks led the Trinity League.
Wyatt chose Oregon over 25 other schools that offered him including Alabama, Georgia, Ohio State and USC among others. He is the third player from California in Oregon’s 2025 recruiting class.
