Recruiting Update: 2026 and 2027 Prospects to Check Out

[player_tooltip player_id='1181781' first='Troy' last='Stimpson'] is a talented player who played as an outside linebacker and some running back for Canon-McMIllan. Stimpson does a nice job at outside linebacker by playing in space. He has a good feel for reading and recognizing the play. He shows good coverage skills by dropping in the zone and then covering the flat area well. He also showed a good ability to tackle players in the open field. Stimpson got some limited playing time as a running back, and he showed a physical running style. Stimpson should be even better this season with an entire off-season.      [player_tooltip player_id='1623749' first='Caleb' last='Anderson'] played as a guard last year for Canon-McMillan. He did an excellent job of having a good stance and start. He fires off the ball well and then engages with defenders by pushing them off the ball. He does an excellent job of double-team on blocks where he blocks defensive linemen and then peels off to block linebackers. He also moves his feet well in pass protection. Anderson should only improve going into his Sophomore year.     Brandon Way Jr is a talented player who played as a cornerback and as a running back last year for Lancaster Catholic. Way is a homerun waiting to happen every time he touches the ball. Either on returns or running the ball Way has big play ability. He has legit track speed and when he gets into the open field he just runs past defenders. At cornerback, he shows excellent coverage skills. He is good at either zone or man-to-man coverage. Way will have a bigger role this year on offense for Lancaster Catholic, so I expect his production to be much greater on offense.     [player_tooltip player_id='1155834' first='Shavane' last='Anderson'] played running back for William Penn High School last year. He has a physical running style that is hard to bring down. He just runs through contact. He is elusive and hard to bring down in space. He just makes defenders miss with the different moves he has in the open field. Anderson also has legit speed and he just runs by defenders. The other big part of his game is he can catch the ball well. He is really good outside of the backfield catching the ball. Anderson has already received his 1st Division One offer from Kent State. I expect more to come his way.     [player_tooltip player_id='647668' first='Carson' last='Bellinger'] played quarterback for Avonworth last year. He has excellent mechanics in throwing the ball. He has good footwork and does a good job of always setting his feet right to deliver an excellent football to his receivers. He throws with good anticipation. He knows exactly where he wants to go with the ball and he throws an accurate football. He also showed off a strong arm, especially on deep throwing. Bellinger is a talented quarterback in the 2026 class.     Allistair Reese is a talented defensive player who played as a defensive end last year for Cheltenham. As a defensive end, he showed several elite skills. He does a good job of getting his hands on offensive tackles and ripping through them. He shows a good ability to keep content and then read the play. He is good at staying home in the run game and making the tackle when it comes his way. Reese is excellent at pass rush. He has the speed and athleticism to chase plays all over the field. Reese could see the field as a linebacker next season or he could be used still as a defensive end. In either place, he will be a good player.     [player_tooltip player_id='1181783' first='Christian' last='Harris'] flashed some good skills last year at linebacker for North Hills. He did a good job of reading his keys and then triggering downhill to make plays. He is a good tackler, especially in the open field. Harris also showed the ability to run sideline-to-sideline to make plays. He also showed a good ability to drop in the zone and make plays on the ball thrown in his zone. Harris has all the tools to be an excellent linebacker and he should be able to make an even bigger impact going into his Sophomore year.     [player_tooltip player_id='1156021' first='Chris' last='Cochran'] played outside linebacker for Greater Latrobe last year. He showed really good coverage skills last year. He does a nice job of reading and reacting to the play and dropping in his zone. In the run game, he does a good job of reading his keys and then triggering downhill to make a play. He is a good run defender because he showed the ability to upfield and make a tackle in the open field. He is also a good blitzer off the edge. Cochran is a talented player in the 2026 class.
