PRZ Next Combine Texas: 2028 Top DB’s

I can honestly say there were some DOGS in Ft. Worth this weekend and they came from all over the state. The super athletic DB from the Austin area was showing out from the jump, I mean that literally and figuratively, as Eyan had the Top Broad Jump out of all the middle school athletes at 9'4u0022. He also put down a Top 3 40 time as well. Stigall plays for Juice and gets to learn from the Miyagi of Movement, Bam Blake. He got to put those grueling workouts to use on Saturday with numerous picks, pbu's and just an overall blanket in coverage. It was fun to watch how effortless his change in direction was. His tight coverage created quite a few over throws, as the QB's didn't want any part of throwing a 50/50 ball with Stinson in coverage. This is another young man that had multiple picks on Saturday. His hips and feet were fluid, his hands were quick to reroute receivers and his speed allowed him to toy with some of these wideouts. The best part of watching Terrell play is that you could watch his eyes stay locked on the hips during 1v1's. I say this meaning that he was so dialed in that it seemed like the whole play just slowed down for him. I will be surprised if he doesn't log any varsity minutes this upcoming season. I can honestly say that he was prepared for all of the smoke. The number of wide receivers greatly outweighed that of the DB's, so Dakari was able to get a lot of reps against some good wideouts. Each rep you could see that he was getting more and more comfortable. He stayed hip to hip, had multiple pass break ups and 2 picks. The one thing the stood out to me is that he breaks on the ball well, this will definitely help him as he navigates the waters at Cibolo Steele next year. Everyone always thinks that you only get seen in 1v1's at these camps, but I want to see that the fundamentals are there. Mr. Evans was very good in this regard. He had good hip flips and his feet moved well with his eyes up. This attributes translated over towards his 1v1's with the receiving corp. Khoen won more than half of his heads up with the wideouts, had a couple of PBU's and played physical.
