Following my breakdown of the top standouts on the All-Showcase First Team, here’s my All-Showcase Second Team picks.
In the first place spot on my list is

, a quarterback at Bowling Green Middle School. In addition to great size and speed, what impresses me about Isable is his footwork and ability to maneuver the pocket with ease. Another aspect of Isable’s playstyle that makes a considerable difference is his arm strength and pin-point accurate passing.

, an athlete at Blackman Middle School. Malone caught my eye during positional drills, utilizing his height and wingspan to dominate his opponent down the stretch. I also liked how Malone could read the long pass, shut down his opponent in coverage and consistently attack the ball in the air.

, a defensive lineman at Taylor County Middle School. Close stood out due to his size and strength at the line of scrimmage. I also liked how Close could read the opposition and utilize his physical edge to wrap up and shut down his foe. Close also showcased his electric speed off the snap during warm-up drills.

, an offensive lineman at Oakland Middle School. On top of his quick execution and explosive speed, Mixon caught my attention with his outstanding size and strength. Mixon’s ability to use his arms to stun and overpower the opposition made a huge difference at the line of scrimmage.

, a running back at Lakeland Prep Middle School. Burnette impressed me with his outstanding size and ability to maneuver the field during warm-up drills. I also liked Burnette’s footwork and durable edge, proving he can withstand contact and punch through openings in the pocket.
