SIOUX FALLS-- After a short break of Memorial Day weekend, we get back on the grind of our scouting reports and showed out who showed off their A-Game at our Prep Redzone Dakotas Combine. Several top performers crack our first list and there were some that took advantage of the double take of their live evaluation in one of our newest classes incoming.

Tate was one wide receiver that I thought was certainly a stockriser during our Prep Redzone Dakotas Combine. A 1st Team All-Camp WR, Tate showed off a twitchy release off the snap which caught waves as one of the best WR reps I watched in 1v1s. This kid is a workhorse that shows off sound finish with his routes and keeps improvising until he finds an opening. Another year catching passes from [player_tooltip player_id='1004217' first='Lincoln' last='Prins'] should certainly grow the chemistry for the Chargers in 2024. Get this young man on Twitter, as there is a next-level future for him in my eyes as the testing numbers also showed that.

Tariq was another WR 1st-teamer I got a double look at in a live evaluation back to back weekends and honestly that second one paid off with some flashbacks to watching him in Sioux Falls. I loved watching his footwork for his age on both occasions as he was in and out quickly with his brakes. He also has a ton of dexterity he showed off in Minot, more than what I expected of a prospect of his size and one that I would certainly bet has a growth spurt incoming. The way Tariq instincts play in his favor, show why he was a one of our top five wide receivers in our top performers group in Sioux Falls and what I saw in Minot the next weekend was a direct match too. Twitter

Another wide receiver I would jot down as a stockriser from our last Spring to this Spring, would be McLaughlin (SD) 2026 [player_tooltip player_id='825412' first='John' last='Eagle']. John cracked our second team in Sioux Falls, and is a wide receiver that it is clear has improved his route-running ability since last time in Aberdeen. The efficiency of his change of direction has seen an uptick as well, logging a fluid 7.31 in the L-Drill and just inside a 4.6 in the short shuttle. The upside John has for the WR position intrigues me, as thie versatility on tape he has shows you the football IQ that is there and not to mention you could see the COD directly from our combine to tape as John has got the growth sput I was hoping to see come thru. Twitter

Dawson was one pre-combine I was excited to see in attendance and get some testing numbers on. He wasn't as fluid in the 40 as I hoped to see, but the change of direction he showed off with his L-Drill top number lived up to what I was hoping for. He was a fringe 1st/2nd teamer that was probably one play away from being a 1st teamer, as the seperation ability and choice of route in 1v1s would have moved the neddle in my eyes. No question that the tape shows off the seperation that Dawson has deep in his routes, which is why I love the upside of this kid to come as one of two of Lex Heathershaw's Wall Eagles to make our Top Performers list in Sioux Falls. Twitter

Caleb was another one that looked from my eyes as a stockriser from our Prep Redzone Dakotas Combine. He shows off as another swiss-army knife that yet is quite smooth with how reactive he is once the ball reaches into his hands as Caleb possesses that open-field IQ that has great upside. He posted one of the top short shuttles within the WR group and has really sound hands that translate well at the next-level, as there seems to be some versatility with Caleb too. The college coaches got a further live eval at our combine to get him some new Division II interest that is a step in the right direction for sure. Twitter
