Here we compile a list of the state's top recruits from all classes & project out on where some of the younger athletes may end up. Please note, three classes are being represented (2025-27') so these aren't your typical rankings. If you are in the top 30, you are essentially listed among the top 10 prospects in your class.

Per usual rankings are based on who projects highest at the collegiate level, with size and speed being key variables. All offers and commitments have been updated next to each athlete's name, as we head into the showcase portion of the summer. There will be numerous offers given out over the next few weeks, starting with the region's premier event at Western Oregon on June 1st (Northwest Showcase).

Over the last few months, we have put together multiple breakdowns featuring the NW's top athletes. This list will focus strictly on Oregon and the top prospects within the state.

NOTES & UPDATES #26-50

I could see 2027 OLB [player_tooltip player_id='791149' first='Kawai' last='Chamberlin'] out of Sheldon turning into a big-time national recruit. Credit to PIL standout [player_tooltip player_id='974833' first='Cash' last='Landau'] on his recent D1 offers. His stock has risen significantly. Also noteworthy is 6-7 tackle [player_tooltip player_id='285851' first='Jace' last='Eveland'] who added his first few offers from the Ivy's.

Expect North Salem dual threat [player_tooltip player_id='402395' first='Braxton' last='Singleton'] to add multiple D1 offers this off season. He has all of the intangibles. Two other DE/OLB's who might blow up include Lake O's [player_tooltip player_id='285849' first='Oliver' last='Macy'], and 6-5 225 pound all conference freshman [player_tooltip player_id='937033' first='Cody' last='Mitchell'], who most don't know about.

[player_tooltip player_id='935357' first='Josiah' last='Hawkins'] out of 4A Cascade has been called one of the top players in the West by respected trainers & scouts, and Chaz Kataonga made the biggest jump of any athlete in Oregon for the 2026 class on the rankings board.

Both [player_tooltip player_id='286686' first='Zachary' last='Davis'] and 6-5 OLB [player_tooltip player_id='754631' first='Kayce' last='Tinner'] added offers from Portland St. People have been missing on Davis in my opinion, with Tinner having ridiculous potential if he can put it all together.

[player_tooltip player_id='902459' first='Gabe' last='Haines'] out of 5A Central will be offered by numerous FCS schools before all is said and done, with 2026 OLB Donnie Vercher projecting out as a Mt Hood POY candidate next season.

I for see Mountainside HS being a top 5 6A program, largely because of Metro League POY favorite [player_tooltip player_id='1094961' first='Jordan' last='Hicks']. [player_tooltip player_id='402427' first='Tyson' last='Davis'] and [player_tooltip player_id='402415' first='Killian' last='Sombe'] of state champ Central Catholic are likely the best RB combo in the Northwest.

Most around the state don't have a clue who 6-4 220-pound TE/DE [player_tooltip player_id='1112466' first='Vinny' last='Arnold'] is out of West Salem, but he can play with the best of them. [player_tooltip player_id='1110964' first='Cole' last='Newton'] is another TE out of Tualatin who will immediately be thrust into the spotlight, with the graduation of so much talent at Tualatin.

Last but definitely least, look for [player_tooltip player_id='766200' first='Treyson' last='Eddleman'] to be in the Three Rivers League POY conversation. He would have walked away with the award in the Pacific Conference but made the move to Lakeridge.

26.[player_tooltip player_id='769995' first='Evan' last='Wusstig'] 6-0 175 26' ATH West Salem OR OFFERS (1) Portland St

Wusstig had one of the best seasons of any sophomore in the west. He had 8 TDs and 48 total tackles, earning 1st team all-league honors on both sides of the football. He comes from a talented family with his brother playing D1 ball. Look for him to do the same.

27.[player_tooltip player_id='791149' first='Kawai' last='Chamberlin'] 6-2 205 27' Sheldon OR

You will hear a lot about this kid in the years ahead. Chamberlin played varsity ball and did well making 14 tackles. His physicality and speed at such a young age is impressive. He is a potential 1st team all-conference selection next season.

28.[player_tooltip player_id='974833' first='Cash' last='Landau'] 6-4 220 25' Franklin OR OFFERS (2) Idaho, Portland St

Landau might be more of a TE at the next level, while leading the state in multiple statistical categories this past year, with 15 TDs and 831 yards receiving during the regular season. He has great size and runs extremely well.

29.[player_tooltip player_id='285851' first='Jace' last='Eveland'] 6-7 300 25' T Redmond OR OFFERS (2) Dartmouth, Harvard

The 2x conference lineman of the year made the move to Redmond this past season and had an outstanding 2023 campaign. Eveland was super impressive from a mobility standpoint, making some significant strides. He will be a multi offer D1 kid.

30.[player_tooltip player_id='402395' first='Braxton' last='Singleton'] 6-2 205 26' WR North Salem OR

Singleton comes from a talented family and should rank as one of the top two-way athletes on the west coast. His combination of speed and physicality at such a young age is impressive. As a sophomore he caught 13 passes for 375 yards, scoring 7 TDs (5 receiving). He was also listed among the state leaders with 5 INTs (2 pick 6's) on D.

31.[player_tooltip player_id='285849' first='Oliver' last='Macy'] 6-4 220 25' DE/OLB Lake Oswego OR

Macy is one of the quickest DE/OLB's in the region and comes from a super talented family. He was a 2nd team all TRL selection this past season and has the frame to put on some legit size and do well collegiately.

32.[player_tooltip player_id='937033' first='Cody' last='Mitchell'] 6-5 225 27' DE Crescent Valley OR

The freshman has elite size for his age, proving himself this past season while earning honorable mention all-conference accolades. There isn't a lot known about the youngster yet, other than that the Raiders will need his presence after going 4-24 the last three years.

33.[player_tooltip player_id='935357' first='Josiah' last='Hawkins'] 5-10 160 27' ATH Cascade OR

Hawkins was a 1st team all-conference CB as a freshman, also earning honorable mention accolades at WR. He has elite D1 speed and will need to showcase that over the off season against top regional and national competition

34.[player_tooltip player_id='1110921' first='Chaz' last='Katoanga'] 6-1 170 26' Nelson OR

Katoanga has impressive film and is one of the fastest rising sophomores in Oregon. The 2nd team all Mt Hood CB made a significant jump up the rankings board after a phenomenal 7v7 season.

35.[player_tooltip player_id='769923' first='Bryce' last='May'] 6-4 305 26' DT Cascade OR

Not a lot of people know about him yet but they will. May could end up as a C/G collegiately but should dominate the region from his D line spot. For the next two years a double team might not be sufficient.

36.[player_tooltip player_id='406774' first='Baird' last='Gilroy'] 6-5 210 25' QB West Linn OR

The unanimous 1st team all TRL QB had a breakout season, currently ranked among the top 15 recruits in Oregon for the 2025 class. He passed for over 3000 yards and 33 Total TDs (28 passing), finishing 3rd in the state in yards & TDs. Gilroy will be expected to lead his team to the state title next year.

37.[player_tooltip player_id='286686' first='Zachary' last='Davis'] 6-1 225 25' Central Catholic OR OFFERS (2) Florida A/M, Portland St

The 2x all conference OLB/DE plays at a different level then most of his peers. Watch the film and you see his combination of speed and physicality stand out. We will see if that translates on the camp circuit over the off season.

38.[player_tooltip player_id='754631' first='Kayce' last='Tinner'] 6-5 215 25' Lakeridge OR OFFERS: Portland St

Tinner has one of the highest ceilings of any OLB in the region. The size and overall athleticism puts him in a different category if he continues to progress. He earned honorable mention all TRL honors making 43 total tackles with 4 tfl's.

39.[player_tooltip player_id='902459' first='Gabe' last='Haines'] 6-4 290 25' G/T Central OR

Definitely one of the fastest rising lineman in the region. The 2x 1st team all-conference tackle was the 5A state discus champion and is also an outstanding wrestler. This will be a big off season as he should make some noise on the camp circuit.

40.[player_tooltip player_id='402406' first='Donnie' last='Vercher III'] 6-2 215 26' Central Catholic OR

Vercher will project as one of the best defensive athletes in Oregon next season. He plays at a high speed and had a good sophomore year, making 14 tackles with 2 tfl's.

41.[player_tooltip player_id='1094961' first='Jordan' last='Hicks'] 5-10 185 26' Mountainside OR

Hicks will be a Metro League POY favorite the next two seasons, after earning 1st team all-league honors and rushing for 1,325 yards and 16 TDs. He has film similar to that of Lake O's Bell, in that his ability to cut and accelerate is on a completely different level.

42.[player_tooltip player_id='1112466' first='Vinny' last='Arnold'] 6-4 220 26' TE West Salem

Not a lot of people know about Arnold yet, but he could end up being one of the top two-way players in the state for the 2026 class. Look for the Titans to be a top 10 team next season.

43.[player_tooltip player_id='285852' first='Avirey' last='Durdahl'] 6-0 180 25' Nelson OR

Durdahl started as a freshman and continues to thrive as one of the top overall players in Oregon for the 2025 class. He passed for 2000+ yards and 21 TDs/6 INTs. The Hawks finished 8-3 with losses to the #1, 2, and 3 teams in the state.

44.[player_tooltip player_id='238435' first='Treynor' last='Cleeland'] 6-1 205 25' QB Jesuit OR OFFERS (2) E. His stock has shot through the roof impressing with his arm strength and accuracy.

45.[player_tooltip player_id='402427' first='Tyson' last='Davis'] 6-0 195 26' Central Catholic OR

Expect Davis to continuously climb the rankings board with continued progression. He has good size and should be considered one of the most versatile overall athletes in the NW. His 991 total yards and 14 TDs were highlighted by his 17 catches and 24.4 yards per catch average.

46.[player_tooltip player_id='287053' first='Trey' last='Kennedy Coleman'] 6-2 280 DL North Medford OR OFFERS (1) Washington St

I can't say enough good things about Kennedy-Coleman. He earned 1st team all-Pacific honors with some of the best film in the region.

49.[player_tooltip player_id='285868' first='Danny' last='Wideman'] 5-10 175 25' West Linn OR

Wideman will be a TRL POY candidate next season after being named a unanimous 1st team all-league athlete as a junior. His 60 receptions for 943 yards and 14 total TDs was one of the best stat lines in the NW.

50.[player_tooltip player_id='1110964' first='Cole' last='Newton'] 6-3 200 26' TE Tualatin

The T-Wolves have a talented 2026 class and Newton could be the best of the bunch. With continued progression and some added size, he could very well be similar to former Tualatin standout Richie Anderson, now at Fresno St.
