Continue ReadingFaalave was the receivers MVP and had the fastest 40-time of the event.
His speed showed in the drills and one-on-ones. He was flying by receivers and has a large catch radius.
Faalave has good hands and body control. He will be one of the best two-way players in the class and already may be the best two-way player in San Diego.
A lot of defensive backs at the event played press man coverage and tried to reroute receivers with their physicality.
Nobody could reroute Olsen because he used his strength and quick arms to break loose. He is strong and physical when the ball comes too and can make tough catches in traffic.
Olsen has solid speed too and can create separation. It’s easy to see why Washington State, Cal and others have offered him.

Olmande is big and already has a college-level frame as a sophomore.
He is explosive off the ball and a sharp route runner who can change direction quickly. His size and strength help him make tough catches in traffic, even though I rarely saw defensive backs cover him effectively.
Olmande recently picked up his first Division 1 offer from Portland State.
One of the more explosive receivers on the day that was underrated in my opinion.
He looked sharp in the individual agility drills and was able to get separation during one-on-ones.
Wong has some length at 6-foot-2 and the frame to add some muscle as he gets older.

I always thought of Luce as a receiver who makes plays after the catch but he was very good in one-on-ones Sunday.
He was getting separation against very highly ranked cornerbacks and made some difficult catches with guys hanging all over him.
When corners were able to get their hands on him, he had the strength to recover and still win the rep. Luce is poised for a huge senior season.

DeVonte Perkins
Perkins is a shifty receiver who tracks the ball well and made some tough catches in traffic.
He was beating some of the top corners in the event because of his route running. Perkins came all the way from Georgia, was excited to be there and took all the reps he could.
Perkins has an offer from Western Kentucky and has the tools to be a slot guy at the next level.
