Josh Faraimo
Faraimo was one of several Cathedral Catholic players that picked up their first D-I offers from Washington St. this month. The sophomore DB was an active tackler around the LOS and a rangy, downhill deep-safety last season. He’s a versatile piece of the secondary that can play physical man coverage as a nickel and cover the second or third levels as a zone defender. He processes quickly, flies to the football, and plays with LB-quality physicality and violence. Faraimo should continue to ascend San Diego’s 2026 ranks over the coming months.

Nua picked up his first pair of D-I offers this month from Arizona St. and Washington St. following a strong season in Oceanside’s secondary. He’s a smart, savvy DB that showed natural instincts in coverage and range as a tackler from his S spot. He’s extremely disruptive up the seams using his timing and anticipation to break up passes over the middle. He’s a committed tackler that plays more physical than his long, lankier frame might suggest (6’3”/175). Nua’s firmly on the D-I radar heading into his junior season.

DJ Wilkins
Wilkins is another D-I talent collecting offers at Mount Miguel with his first coming from Arizona this month. He’s a smooth, gifted athlete that flashed playmaking speed and elusiveness with the ball in his hands as a QB on JV last season but will play WR in the fall. He has a high-upside physical make-up with natural length and muscle to his 6’2”/175 frame. Wilkins should see plenty of opportunities to raise his stock in the fall playing for what should be one of the most explosive offenses in the state next season.

Mekhi Oluwa
Oluwa picked up his first offer from UNLV this month after showing his physicality as a tackler in the secondary last season. He excels as a S around the second level where he can read-and-react to the football, take sharp angles to close space, and use his lateral range to make stops. He seeks out contact and consistently makes high-effort plays in every area of the field. Oluwa should continue to see his stock rise with a strong season in the fall.

King David Dunn
Dunn picked up his first offer from Arizona this month and looks to be another high-level talent coming out of Lincoln’s D-I pipeline. He was a featured prospect during Tom Lemming’s stop in San Diego, who noted the 2026 WR’s “explosive speed” and natural athletic ability. Dunn will be a player to watch for a potential breakout season as he looks to earn targets from the state’s top QB-
